Waghbil is citiuated on outskirts of Thane City nearly 6 k.m. from Thane railway station. [1] Waghbil now is densely populated area as compared to 1991. Waghbil was a village at that time but now it has been absorbed into Thane Municipal corporation. One of the major residential societies in waghbil are Vijay Nagari, Cosmos Residency, Prestige Residency. waghbil village is around 2 k.m. from highway. Junction on highway near waghbil is known as waghbil naka. Prestigeious hiranadani estate is one of the adjoining localities to Waghbil. Suraj Water park, the only water park in Thane is situated on Waghbil Naka.
