East Northumberland Secondary School is a secondary school located in Brighton, Ontario, Canada.

Clubs

There are many clubs to join in ENSS, and everyone is encouraged to join.

Student government

The Student Government of ENSS is modeled after the Canadian Parliamentary system, and members are selected by elections. It consists of a Prime Minister, a Deputy Prime Minister, Minister of Finance, Minister of State for Finance, Minister of the Environment, Minister of Athletics, Minister of Social Activities, Minister of Revenue, Minister of Student Affairs, Minister of Communications, Minister of Graduate Affairs, a well as two Ministers without Portfolio (MWoP). In addition, the 2008-2009 school year will add two new positions: Minister of Arts and Culture and Minister of Grade Nine Affairs. The Student Government of ENSS is responsible for organizing, funding and running most of the school events. These events include the Terry Fox Dance, World's Finest Chocolate fundraiser, Semi-Formal, the ENSS film festival, Spring Fling, ENSS has got Talent, various buy-outs, and Prom. Student Government also supplies most of the funding for additional clubs and teams in the school.

Candidates for Student Government are chosen by school-wide election.
