Image copyright problem with Image:Nicktoonstvuklogo.jpg

Thanks for uploading Image:Nicktoonstvuklogo.jpg. You've indicated that the image is being used under a claim of fair use, but you have not provided an adequate explanation for why it meets Wikipedia's requirements for such images. In particular, for each page the image is used on, the image must have an explanation linking to that page which explains why it needs to be used on that page. Can you please check

  • That there is a non-free use rationale on the image's description page for each article the image is used in.
  • That every article it is used on is linked to from its description page.

This is an automated notice by FairuseBot. For assistance on the image use policy, see Wikipedia:Media copyright questions. --FairuseBot (talk) 05:00, 23 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Just a wee question

I'm watching the page List of programmes broadcast by Cartoon Network UK & Ireland‎ and noticed in your edit summary it said "Unsourced! Remember, SOURCE OR DIE!", i would like to know the meaning to why you have the "SOURCE OR DIE!" in there and i would like for you to stop that or i have no choice to mention to an admin about what looks like a threat to editors. Pro66 (talk) 19:25, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Because someone have put The mr. Men Show on the coming soon Section without any sources so I Can't Help It! HMR 21:11, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
It be best to do something coz an admin will not care if you cant help it he/she could block you. Pro66 (talk) 21:26, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Word of warning: comments like this are unnacceptable. Referencing contributions to Wikipedia is paramount, but that does not give you carte blache to be rude and threatening in this manor. You have been warned about this behaviour in the past: count this as your final warning. Further use of the edit summary "SOURCE OR DIE" will result in a block for civility, or more accurately lack of. There must be thousands of ways you can convey a similar message but in a non-abbrasive fasion - go use one of them. TalkIslander 22:16, 30 September 2008 (UTC)[reply]

October 2008

You have been blocked for a period of 24 hours from editing in accordance with Wikipedia's blocking policy for attempting to harass other users. Once the block has expired, you are welcome to make constructive contributions. If you believe this block is unjustified, you may contest the block by adding the text {{unblock|your reason here}} below. TalkIslander 21:18, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
This block comes a result of this edit, which comes after numerous requests to this user to stop this kind of behaviour. It is also in part a response to the constant refactoring of threads regarding this issue on both this page and my own talk page. TalkIslander 21:19, 4 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]

Orphaned non-free media (Image:Nicktoonsuklogo.gif)

Thanks for uploading Image:Nicktoonsuklogo.gif. The media description page currently specifies that it is non-free and may only be used on Wikipedia under a claim of fair use. However, it is currently orphaned, meaning that it is not used in any articles on Wikipedia. If the media was previously in an article, please go to the article and see why it was removed. You may add it back if you think that that will be useful. However, please note that media for which a replacement could be created are not acceptable for use on Wikipedia (see our policy for non-free media).

If you have uploaded other unlicensed media, please check whether they're used in any articles or not. You can find a list of 'image' pages you have edited by clicking on the "my contributions" link (it is located at the very top of any Wikipedia page when you are logged in), and then selecting "Image" from the dropdown box. Note that all non-free media not used in any articles will be deleted after seven days, as described on criteria for speedy deletion. Thank you. BJBot (talk) 05:35, 10 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
