The game has a persistent geography which can be extended as needed. For phase 2 users will can have multiple characters per account, and an avatars appearance is customizable. Multi-e-Maths:

Client Name : Cambridge-Hitachi

Project Description:

Mult-e-Maths is a browser-based product comprising activities authored either in Flash (swfs), or using the Mult-e-Maths Toolbox (.mem files); the files appear in html pages consisting of two framing flash files (swfs) surrounding the activities; this system will need to be retained for the New Framework Edition.

The activities themselves are organized into a folder structure by objective, activity and page; this organization interacts with the interface via xml files, so that changes to the structure can be made by the in-house team; this will need to be retained so that the team can reorganize the content to match the new framework.

The above software was made for online and desktop application.

Prelusion Game Engine:

Client Name : Prelusion(SWEDEN)
Project Description:

The main issues with the engine are related to Windows XP on latest computers and consist of a total freeze error (1), a timer error (2) and a graphical error (3). Then client is looking to add an anti alias function (4) to all the sprites and animations that are drawn on the screen and implement a more dynamic handling (5) of the interface, inventory and main character.

In addition, client would like to add some functionality, basically new commands (6) to the existing script language.

Easilearn Geography:

Client Name : Research Machine(U.K.)
Project Description:

All activities run within an Easilearn “container” and the activities and container need to communicate on occasions. The container includes a feature called “The Journal” – this is an application where pupils and teachers can record what has happened in the activity, or where the activity automatically records data. RM will be creating the Easilearn container and journal but the activities created will need to be able to communicate. There is an overall storyline behind Easilearn – when the user logs in this storyline will be shown. Basically Easilearn is set in the future and the user(s) is being sent back in time to discover more about Earth in the past. The user will feedback their learning through the Journal – this is their way of communicating with the future. So in each activity the idea of the journal (which will probably look like some sort of PDA device) will be important. Some of the in-game controls will effectively be part of the PDA –device, i.e. when the user opens the PDA it will extend out from the existing in-game controls. The implication here is that RM designers, who are defining the look and feel of the journal, will have to work closely with the designers of the in-game controls to ensure a seamless experience.
