Loc Ninh is a provincial capital in southern Vietnam. It is a district (huyện) of Binh Phuoc Province in the southeastern region of Vietnam. A major battle, the Battle of Loc Ninh, occurred there during the Vietnam War.

Transport

In 2007, a section of the proposed Trans-Asian Railway connecting Cambodia with Vietnam would pass through Loc Ninh. [1]

The nearest town on the Cambodian side of the border is Phumi Chhneng [1]
