Sure looks like there is a fair amount of vandalism scattered through the article. Someone better than I at deciphering the history should clean it up. I'd make a mess.

Texans
Surely it would be better to use the normal term for Texas residents, "Texans", rather than the strange "Texians" which is used throughout this article. EraNavigator (talk) 00:16, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Did you read Texian? As far as I can tell there, the word refers to anyone of any color and language not of local Tejano heritage, especially during that time. --anoddname 00:45, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
We prefer "Taxicano" - and that should be the proper term used to refer to the Citizens of the Republic of Texas. Shall we change the article to this, or should I do it? Mwahcysl (talk) 18:27, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
FA
why was this nominated a FA? I've seen much better and through articles. Vinson 01:34, 11 October 2008 (UTC)[reply]
Texian is not the right name for people from Texas. It should be Texans and it is either the Texan Army or the Texas Army.—Preceding unsigned comment added by 145.116.224.173 (talk • contribs)
