Donnell Gilliam (March 12, 1889 – March 6, 1960) was a United States federal judge.

Gilliam was born in Tarboro, North Carolina. He received a B.A. from University of North Carolina in 1909. He received a LL.B. from University of North Carolina School of Law in 1910. He was in private practice of law in Tarboro, North Carolina from 1923 to 1945. He was a State district solicitor from 1923 to 1945.

Gilliam was a federal judge to the United States District Court for the Eastern District of North Carolina. Gilliam was nominated by President Harry S Truman on May 3, 1945, to a seat vacated by Isaac M. Meekins. He was confirmed by the United States Senate on May 15, 1945, and received commission on May 18, 1945. Assumed senior status on March 16, 1959. Gilliam's service was terminated on March 6, 1960, due to death.

He died in Tarboro, North Carolina.
