Biopolis is a centre located in Singapore for biomedical sciences in Asia and the world.

Located within one-north and in close proximity to the National University of Singapore, the National University Hospital and the Singapore Science Parks, Biopolis seeks to be a "world-class" biomedical sciences research and development hub in Asia. This campus is dedicated to providing space for biomedical research and development activities and promotes a collaboration among the private and public research community.

Biopolis Phase 1 is a 185,000 m² (2,000,000 ft²) biomedical complex of 7 buildings completed from June 2003 to March 2004. Several key government agencies, publicly-funded research institutes and research labs of pharmaceutical and biotechnological companies will be located here. Phase 2 is in the planning stage.

There are plans to build a hotel nearby and a large number of private condominium units. The latter is controversial since there appears to be an excess of properties in Singapore and as at 2005 due to new rules announced by the Singapore government, home prices are only slowly recovering. Meanwhile there are a sizeable number of empty public housing flats in Singapore particularly in the less popular housing estates further from the business centre.
