Baillie Gifford is an independently owned investment management firm based in Edinburgh, Scotland.

History

The firm was established by Augustus Baillie and Carlyle Gifford as a legal partnership in 1908.[2]

Operations

The firm's assets under management were circa £55 billion as at 31 December 2009.[3]
