Sir Henry Arthur Blake (1840-1918) was a British colonial admnistrator. After a term as an Irish magistrate, Blake became governor of the Bahamas from 1884 to 1887 and then governor of Newfoundland from 1887 to 1889. He was then appointed governor of Queensland but resigned before taking office. He served as governor of Jamaica from 1889 to 1897, governor of Hong Kong from 1897 to 1903 and governor of Ceylon from 1903 to 1907. In 1910 he left the Colonial Office to become chairman of Newfoundland Oilfields Limited.
