Species

Linum is a genus of flowering plants in the family Linaceae. Among many other species, several of which are common wildflowers in various parts of the world, it includes the Common Flax (L. usitatissimum), which is used to produce linen.

Linum species are used as food plants by the larvae of some Lepidoptera species including Cabbage Moth, The Nutmeg and Setaceous Hebrew Character.
