Gary Yia Lee

Gary Yia Lee was born in Laos. Following the war in Laos, he resettled with his family in Sydney, Australia. He is a founding member of the Hmong-Australia Society and he has been involved in settlement work among Lao and other Indochinese refugees since 1976. He has degrees in social work and a Ph. D. in anthropology. He is also the author of the novel Dust of Life. His literary work has appeared in the Paj Ntaub Voice Hmong literary journal.
