Sire Raul also known as Ralph of Milan (Milan, ca. 1100 - approx. 1200 AD) was an Italian historian.

He lived in Milan between the late 12th century and the beginning of the 13th but details of his life aren't precisely known.

He was probably an official in the service of the Podestà of Milan, perhaps he personally took part in the Battle of Carcano (9–10 August 1160), where local militias and the army of Frederick Barbarossa met on field.

Remembered for his work as chronicler, Sire Raul is the author of the Annales Mediolanenses, important chronicles about the clash between the Emperor Frederick I Barbarossa and the Commune of Milan. For his chosen songs in Italian and Latin, see: Federico A. Rossi di Marignano, "Federico Barbarossa e Beatrice di Borgogna. Re e regina d'Italia", Oscar Mondadori 2009.
