Hemiemblemaria simulus is a species of chaenopsid blenny, and the only species in the genus Hemiemblemaria.[1] It is found in coral reefs in the western Atlantic ocean.[1] It was named by W.H. Longiley and S.F. Hildebrand in 1940,[2] and can reach a maximum length of 10 centimetres.[1]
