Gibbonsia montereyensis is a species of clinid in the genus Gibbonsia.[1] It is a subtropical blenny found found from British Columbia, Canada, to Baja California, Mexico, in the eastern Pacific Ocean.[1] It was named by C.L. Hubbs in 1927, originally as a subspecies of Gibbonsia elegans,[2] and can reach a maximum length of 11 centimetres.[1]
