James Frank Duryea (October 8, 1869, Washburn, Illinois - February 15, 1967, Saybrook, Connecticut), along with his brother Charles Duryea, invented and built one of the first gasoline fueled automobiles in the United States, Duryea Motor Wagon Company, established in 1895.[1]
