the Detroit and Toledo Shore Line Railroad, (AAR reporting mark DTSL) was a small rail carrier that had a multi-track mainline bridging Detroit and Toledo and served major industries. Grand Trunk Western, GTW and the Nickel Plate Railroad, NKP co-owned the railroad. GTW eventually took complete control of the line when the Norfolk and Western Railway sold its share of the line after it merged with the Nickel Plate Road.
