Paul Gerrard , born in Heywood on 22nd January 1973, is a goalkeeper currently playing for Nottingham Forest. He is 6 ft 2" and 12 stone 3 in weight.

He started his career with Oldham Athletic as a trainee, going on to make over 120 appearences. He then moved to Everton for a fee of £1,000,000 and quickly became the number 1 'keeper. He was later loanded out several times to Ipswich Town, Sheffield United and Oxford United before moving to Forest on a free transfer. He won Nottingham Forest's Player of the Year award for the 2004-2005 season.
