Skiptracing is the use of electronic databases to track down people. Key users of skiptracing are debt collection agencies seeking debtors who have "skipped out". Bounty hunters and private detectives also make use of skiptracing. The growth of the internet has made available many online resources for skiptracing.

Skiptracing is also the name of a musical band.
