Saint Sebastian University (USS) (Spanish: "Universidad San Sebastián") is a private Chilean university with its headquarters located in Concepción. The university also has faculties in Santiago, Valdivia, Osorno and Puerto Montt. It was founded in 1989, and received formal state recognition as a university in 2001.[citation needed]
