The Farnsworth Art Museum is located in Rockland, Maine and is best known as one of the nation's foremost holders of the paintings of the Wyeth family: N.C. Wyeth, Andrew Wyeth, and Jamie Wyeth. The museum arguably specializes in work that portrays the landscape and lifestyle of New England, especially that of the state of Maine.
