WikiProject - Sports Car Racing
Following the massive expansion of Wikipedia:WikiProject Formula One, as well as the other number of racing related projects (Aussie V8 Supercars, NASCAR, IROC, A1GP, MotoGP), I believe that sports car racing in general is in need of a massive expansion here on Wiki. I personally already started to expand greatly on pages for the 24 Hours of LeMans, including results pages for every year. However I think that more can be done, and hopefully there are others out there interested.
The project will concentrate on expanding the explanation of sports car series (ALMS, ELMS, LMES/LMS, JLMC, World Sportscar Championship, FIA GT, Grand-Am, JGTC/Super GT, CanAm, IMSA), expanding the stubs and creating new pages for prominant teams and constructors, posting full results for at least the major races (12 Hours of Sebring, 24 Hours of Daytona, 24 Hours of Spa), as well as detailed reports of the racing action if possible.
