Mikey Cuthbert (b. July 1972) is a British musician. Mikey is a singer songwriter from Southend on Sea and still based in Essex, UK. Mikey is a musicain published by Eeplie, Pete Townshend's publishing company.

Not classically trained, Mikey is self taught and has been writing songs for most of his life. His music is guitar based acoustic indie and his gritty but beautiful lyrics express his real life experiences and emotions.

Mikey currently co hosts the instant cult hit and real time internet show In the Attic with Rachel Fuller. The show includes live music, witty rhetoric and guest appearances from established musicians and celebrities. Pete Townshend, Simon Townshend, Jerry Hall and Roger Daltrey were all special guests on Series 1.

In the Attic prompted two live events in 2005 where Mikey shared a stage with Pete Townshend, Simon Townshend, Foy Vance and Rachel Fuller and her band at the Bedford Arms in London and a special event Basement Jam. Basement Jam was live from Oceanic Studios and was watched by an internet audience of 5,000.

Rachel and Mikey went on the road this summer with In The Attic, supporting The Who Tour across Europe and webcasting live by satelitte from their 32 foot shiny airstream at every gig.

Visit Mikey's blog for all his latest news and go to the In the Attic website to watch clips of Mikey playing live on ITA from the European shows.
