Stephan Balint Stephan Balint was born on July 11, 1943 in Budapest, Hungary as Istvan Balint. He was an actor and writer, known for Hunter (1989), Histoires d'Amérique: Food, Family and Philosophy (1989) and The Golden Boat (1990). He died on October 11, 2007 in Budapest. He was founder of New York's Squat Theater, one of a number of experimental theater groups of the 1970s and 1980s.
