Marjan Da-Silva is a British financier and a leading analyst, born in Hammersmith, London in 1978, she currently is a Senior Asset Manager with UBS AG in London. Personally recruited by John Costas, then CEO of UBS Investment Banking, to bolster the Global Asset Managements presence in 2005 amidst fierce competition by rivals from Generation Investment Management LLP.

Prior to joining UBS, Ms. da Silva was employed as a senior analyst/portfolio manager for Generation Investments, covering both U.S. and international small cap stocks. Before Generation, she worked for Goldman Sachs in a number of capacities.

Da Silva is a Chartered Financial Analyst, and was educated at Trinity College, Oxford University receiving a bachelor's degree in 1999, and received her MSc from London School of Economics in 2001.

Da Silva is one of the Directors of the Creche-Orfanato Minha Vo Flor in Brazil. She is a member of the Board of Trustees at Projeto Bahia Street, and Women At Risk. She is also on the Advisory Boards of The Childrens Hospital Trust Fund and Ruas e Pracas.

She currently resides in London.
