Ismaël Wagué is a Malian soldier, Deputy Chief of Staff of the Air Force of the Malian Armed Forces.[1]

He is, along with Assimi Goita, Malick Diaw and Sadio Camara, one of the organizers of the 2020 coup d'état against President Ibrahim Boubacar Keïta.[2] He later became spokesperson for the National Committee for the Salvation of the People.[3]
