IMPORTANT INFORMATION

I Have Added A Couple Of Photos Which Are Not From The Internet And Are Private So Before You Try To Edit Those Photos Or Brand Them As Stolen ASK ME.Thanx.. Cometstyles 13:36, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

You must specify who created the photos. Saying that a photo "is the property of ...." is meaningless, especially when you credit the photo to somebody in the photo. Erik Swanson 11:23, 5 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

P.S You Are More Than Welcome To Delete Any Images If You Think It Infringes Copyright Laws Because Its Hard To Get Licences Without Knowing Who Took The Pictures

Image maintenance tags

Regarding your edits to image pages ([1], [2]): Please do not remove image maintenance notices. These notices are needed to highlight possible problems and establish the status of images. If you disagree with the notice, please discuss these issues on the image's talk page. Thank you. --Muchness 15:23, 25 November 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Good article status

Regarding your edits to rugby union talk pages: please note that for an article to be assessed as "Good" class, it has to pass through the Good Article nomination process. --Muchness 14:22, 13 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hey, I see that you have been editing and adding the {{WikiProject Rugby union}} template to rugby talk pages. It's great that you are willing to help out with the assessment of rugby related pages. Unfortunately though many of your assessments have not been consistent with those of others as per the assessment page of the Wikiproject RU. Before making any more changes to article assessments could you please visit the assessment page here and read the criteria for difference article quality and importance ratings. If you have any questions feel free to contact me on my talk page, as well, if you disagree with some of the assessment and importance standards please discuss this at the appropriate talk page here. Thanks. - Shudda talk 00:27, 14 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hurricanes

all good ... i've just started putting together a new hurricanes article on my user page, it's my first real edit on wikipedia so any help or suggestions would be awesome. --ET has the passion of 1000 suns 04:34, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hi there! Thank you so much for your nice note on my talk page. I'll return the compliment - for a couple of years I was virtually the only person writing about Fiji-related topics. Xorkl000, Girmitya, and Laulad have come on board, and I'm pleased to see you here now. Why don't you sign up for the WikiProject Fiji? Just click on the link and sign up. We'd love to have you as part of the team. David Cannon 14:13, 20 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Indo-Fijian?

Hi there! Yes, I know that racial/ethnic/cultural labelling is a sensitive emotional issues. With respect to Fijian citizens of Indian descent, I have encountered some passionate arguments on both sides of this question. I can sympathize, because we have a similar debate in New Zealand about Pakeha/European/Caucasian/No label, a debate that generates more heat than light, in my opinion. Having said that, Wikipedia is strictly committed to a Neutral Point of View. I would encourage you to read it carefully. In brief, that precludes us from labelling on the basis of individual preference. Terms like Indo-Fijian, Fiji Indian, and Indian Fijian are all used in scholarly academic journals. Under our referencing and verifiability policies, we use terms that can be sourced. It's not possible to please everybody, period. From Wikipedia's point of view, all such labels are purely for the purpose of identification. Sorry I cannot do anything about that. David Cannon 12:04, 26 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Sorry

I just wish to apoligize for misleading people. Sorry. Thanks That myspace is not mine, someone else had made it and thats why I thought I should ask.

Hi there! Do you know whether or not Rebecca Singh is any relation to Chelsea Singh, whom I've seen reading the news on Fiji Television? David Cannon 23:24, 29 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Thanks for giving me Rebecca's e-mail address. User:Girmitya says that she is indeed Chelsea's sister, but I might still write to her for some other info. Thanks a lot. David Cannon 12:02, 30 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

WP:RU Announcement template

Hi, thought you may be interested in incorporating this template; {{WPRU Announcements}} on your use page. I'm hoping it will help members of WP:RU better co-ordinate and communicate. Thanks. - Shudda talk 05:00, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

List of All Blacks

Hey, I looked at your additions. Good stuff. Only thing is Umaga did debut in 1997 (see his profile here). I have added the first 200 All Blacks, some links need to be disambiguated (numbers 175 - 200 to be precise). I've worked a way to add the info reasonably efficiently. Will add the rest this week. - Shudda talk 22:03, 31 December 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Shaun Perry

Cheers for that ... there are a few players on your page I would contend being in the world XV: Justin Harrison? Sione Lauaki? Rupeni? (he's well passed his best) Joe Rokocoko? (he's good but he's not quite Sivivatu or Tuqiri) but that's just my opinion. blablabla ET has the passion of 1000 suns 23:49, 2 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

You may want the Template:sprotect2 on Hilary Duff's page, but its not doing much to scare off any IP vandals, unless it's actually semi-protected. Quasyboy 13:50, 4 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]

If you want you can request for semi-protection at WP:RFPP, I've requested twice already within the last two months. Or you can wait a couple of hours until things get really out of hand. But I don't just dont why so many people out there hate her, I am just in LOVE with her with everything that she has done in career. Quasyboy 14:04, 4 January 2007 (UTC)
Exactly, Dude, Exactly. That's the exact reason why I love her too. What you favorite Hilary song and movie? Quasyboy 14:14 4 January 2007 (UTC)
  • Favorite song: There are just so many to choose from but I'm going to have to go with, "The Getaway". I have alot more favorite songs believe me.
  • Favorite movie: A Cinderella Story.
And by the way, inculde your username in this category that I just created: Category:Wikipedians who listen to Hilary Duff.

Other wikis

Hi there! I tried to access the two wikis you told me about. Encyclopedia Dramatica was blocked by my internet filter which prevents access to porn. I could not find Opencycle, but there are hundreds, if not thousands, of projects operating on the same software (Mediawiki 6.0, I think) as wikipedia, which is publicly available under a free license. And yes, there are also numerous sites "forks" and "mirrors"; forks copy Wikipedia content, then edit it to suit themselves (Wikinfo is the most famous successful of these), while mirrors just copy the content and display it, read-only. What you found could be one of those. David Cannon 12:18, 5 January 2007 (UTC)[reply]
