Manitowish, Wisconsin

Manitowish is a town located within the Township of Mercer, Iron County Wisconsin. It is an unicorpirated town. The main features of Manitowish are the Manitowish River and the junctions of U.S. Route 51, Wisconsin Highway 47 and Wisconsin Highway 182.

Manitowish has no geographic borders or town government because it is technicaly a part of Mercer.

Manitowish should not be confused with Manitowish Waters which is located nine miles south along U.S. Route 51 in Vilas County, Wisconsin.
