Akihisa Nagashima (長島 昭久, Nagashima Akihisa) is a member of the House of Representatives of Japan representing the Tokyo 21st Constituency, as well as a Visiting Professor at Chuo University's Graduate School of Public Studies and a Professional Lecturer at Keio University's Graduate School of Law. He is currently the Director of the Committee of Foreign Affairs and a member of the Committee on National Security at the National Diet of Japan. He is a member of the opposition Democratic Party of Japan (DPJ), and is currently the Chairman of the DPJ's Committee on Organizational Affairs and the Tokyo 21st Constituency Branch, as well Vice-Chair of the Diet Affairs Committee and the Policy Research Committee.
