Premise
ref Serbian news outlets have been reporting with increasing intensification in recent days on attempts by Islamist terrorist groups, including Al-Qaeda, to recruit soldiers among Bosnia's Muslims. <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by Alexandra011 (talk • contribs) 23:51, 25 March 2008 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:Unsigned --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->2008-03-28 The dots begin to connect in a radical network that reaches from Bosnia across Western Europe as police in Bosnia arrest five suspected of plotting to attack Catholic and EUFOR objects, ISA's Anes Alic and Damir Kaletovic report ref .
The basic premise of the show is that overweight contestants are competing to win $250,000 by losing the highest percentage of their starting body weight. The first season began with 12 contestants, while the second season began with 14. The third season began with 50 contestants, one from each state. The fourth season began with 18 contestants, while the fifth began with ten teams of two people each.

In the first three seasons, contestants were housed on a large ranch that offered plenty of indoor and outdoor space, a pool and a fully equipped gym. In the fourth season, the ranch was changed and renamed college campus, known on the show as the Biggest Loser Campus.

Over 150 security sector specialists gathered at the Sava Center in Belgrade for the Security and Society Forum: ‘Terrorism and Religious Extremism’ to discuss the importance of networking to combat terrorism, web-based terrorism and perspectives of religious terrorism in Southeast Europe. Mr. James Roberts, US Deputy Director, Marshall Center and Professor Katharina von Knop, Adjunct Professor, Program on Terrorism and Security Studies, Marshall Center were guest speakers along with Dr. Zoran Dragisic and M.A. Darko Trifunovic, University of Belgrade, Faculty of Security. Participants included Marshall Center alumni, University of Belgrade students and faculty, the National Defense School, foreign embassy officials as well as officials from the security sector of Serbia. The alumni used the Forum to present the Marshall Center Paper No. 7 in Serbian. In addition, two Alumni Association commercial books, translated into Serbian, were offered to participants. <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.216.116.64 (talk) 11:16, 22 March 2008 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:UnsignedIP --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->
At the start of each season, contestants are grouped into teams and each team is assigned a personal trainer. For the first 3 seasons, there were two teams and two trainers, while the fourth season featured three teams and three trainers. The trainers are responsible for designing and teaching to the contestants comprehensive workout plans and nutrition plans. It is up to the contestants, however, how much or how little of the nutrition plan to implement, and how much of the workout plan they follow when the trainer is not present.

The season starts with a weigh-in to determine the contestants' starting weights. Each week culminates in another weigh-in to determine which team has lost the most weight for that week, in percentage of total weight lost. The team that has lost the lower percentage during that week must vote off one member of the team.

Dr Darko Trifunovic is analyst of the International Analyst Network
When the number of contestants has shrunk to a predetermined smaller number (unknown to the contestants), the teams are dissolved. The contestants are now competing one-on-one against each other, although they continue to work with their original trainers. Each week still culminates with a weigh-in, now with the two people who have lost the least percentage of weight being the ones who can be voted on for elimination.
ref

The International Analyst Network is a profile-based community to provide the perfect environment for interactive blogging, self-publication, and the best source of personalized up-to-date news feeds on the web. This network was founded by four students in their early twenties who met at the International Intelligence Summit in 2007. The founders wanted to develop an initiative to encourage young analysts to establish themselves and provide a platform through which the youth could become more involved in foreign policy and related analysis.
The trainers are motivated to 'push' their individual contestants by a predetermined bonus structure, with the winning contestant's trainer taking home $100,000+.

Dr Darko Trifunovic is Senior Adviser of the Research Institute for European and American Studies (RIEAS)
Motivations for the contestants are similar. People who have been eliminated still try to lose weight as they are competing for the "At Home" prize of $100,000. The finalists however continue to lose weight with the show's trainers and will eventually compete for the larger prize of $250,000. Both are awarded at the "Finale". The number of episodes directly correlates to the number of weeks the "finalists" spend working with their trainers. Once the last episode of a season is shot and the finalists are selected, these remaining contestants are sent home to continue their weight loss training on their own. Once all of the "episodes" have aired, all of the contestants are brought back to measure their progress before the awards are given. The amount of time the finalists receive before a finale occurs varies from season to season.

ref
The general episode structure is as follows:

The Research Institute for European and American Studies seeks to achieve this objective through research, by publishing its research papers on international politics and intelligence studies, organizing seminars, as well as providing analyses via its web site. The Institute maintains a library and documentation center. RIEAS is an institute with an international focus. Young analysts, journalists, military personnel as well as academicians are frequently invited to give lectures and to take part in seminars. RIEAS maintains regular contact with other major research institutes throughout Europe and the United States and, together with similar institutes in Western Europe, Middle East, Russia and Southeast Asia.
# Temptation. Contestants prepare for the first day of the week only to find a situation that involves temptation. The temptation usually requires contestants to gamble by eating or drinking delicious but high-calorie foods in exchange for what may seem to be a beneficial trade-off. The benefits may or may not be known to the contestants in advance. Examples include eating sweet foods for a chance to call their loved ones, eating a big slice of cake to win an unknown prize (which, in one episode, turned out to be an exercise bike) or giving up time with trainer for a chance to win thousands of dollars. Contestants are given a set amount of time before the offer passes.
# Reward challenge. Contestants compete to win a prize, first as teams and then as individuals after the teams are dissolved. After the challenge, viewers are shown the winning team savoring their reward while the losing team bitterly accepts their loss. Prizes range from immunity to exercise equipment to phone calls home to "Pound Passes", that allow the holder to have a greater weight loss at the Weigh-In (eg. a 6lb weight loss would result in a 7lb weight loss if a contestant were to win a "1 Pound Pass").
# Weigh-in. All contestants are weighed to determine the amount they have lost relative to their total body weight. During team-based competition, the team that loses the highest percentage wins and the losing team must send one person home. When the teams are dissolved and the show becomes an individual competition, the two contestants who lose the lowest percentage of weight are eligible for elimination. A similar setup to individual-based weigh-ins happens when the two initial teams are broken up into four teams of two, as happened in the second season.
# The vote. The losing team meets in a dining room that has refrigerators labeled with each contestant's name, and filled with that contestant's favorite tempting foods. The name of each contestant is illuminated, and as people are voted out, the light for their name is extinguished. During the team-based competition, losing members each carry a covered plate containing the name of the person they wish to vote out. The team members who lost the highest percentage of weight that week are considered immune and may not be sent home. In the event of a tie, the winning team decides which member of the losing team shall be voted out. During the individual-based competition, the fate of the two contestants on the chopping block will be determined by the other players. In the event of a tie, the contestant who lost the least percentage of weight is eliminated.

Bob Harper, Jillian Michaels and Kim Lyons are personal trainers assigned to help the competitors. Michaels was a personal trainer for the first two seasons and the special editions, but was replaced with Lyons in season 3. Both Michaels and Lyons returned to the show in the fourth season, with Michaels training a third Black team.

Dr Darko Trifunovic become member of Advisory Board of the Institute for Transnational Studies
For the Fifth season, Michaels became the lone female trainer. According to Rene Lynch of the Los Angeles Times, Lyons stepped back from the program to finish personal projects that she had already started before signing on, including a video series. She is currently not sure whether she will be a part of the show in the future.

JAPAN AND TERRORISM INFRASTRUCTURE FROM BOSNIA
The first season of The Biggest Loser featured 12 contestants divided into two teams, the Red team and the Blue team. Team Red was coached by trainer Jillian Michaels, while Team Blue was coached by trainer Bob Harper. The eventual winner of the $250,000 grand prize was Ryan, with a total weight loss of 122 pounds (37%).

Japanese government and counter-terrorism officials met behind closed doors this week with Dr. Darko Trifunovic, international expert on Islamic terrorism. In well-attended sessions, Dr. Trifunovic presented lectures on the following topics:
Season 2
The Biggest Loser (Season 2)
Original Air Date: 9/13/05 - 11/29/05

1. "White Al-Qaeda and the Bosnian jihad"
11 Episodes, 1 Finale
2. Bosnia and the al-Qaeda network: Modus Operandi
3. Bosnian experiences and Al-Qaeda's new training tactics
4. How terrorism is funded: the Bosnian model
5. Bosnia-Herzegovina and international terrorism
6. G-7 summit and terrorist threats

Generally speaking, when one is assessing the threat to a country or region coming from militant Islamic terrorists, (e.g. Al-Qaeda, and other similarly inclined groups), there are certain indicators to watch for. Among them are the following:
The second season featured fourteen contestants divided into two teams based on gender. The women were coached by Bob Harper, while the men were coached by trainer Jillian Michaels. Season two introduced the change that weigh-ins would be won or lost based on the percentage of total weight lost, rather than on the number of pounds lost. This change was made to create a more even playing field
1. Presence of mujaheddin;
among contestants of varying weights. Matt was the eventual winner. In this season, contestants Suzy Preston and Matt Hoover (third place finisher and winner, respectively) began dating after the show and since married (revealed in an interview on Larry King Live). In 2007, they had their first child together.
2. Presence of so-called "humanitarian organizations"
3. Presence of state sponsors of terrorism
4. Presence of terrorist organizations
5. Manipulation of religion to terrorist purposes.
Surprisingly, all the above-mentioned elements apply to Japan. Osama bin Laden even personally declared Japan a target. The message of Al-Qaeda's leader, broadcast on Al-Jazeera on October 18, 2003, declares: "We reserve the right to retaliate, at an appropriate time and place, against all countries that take part in this unjust war, specifically Britain, Spain, Australia, Poland, Japan and Italy."..... <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.216.103.130 (talk) 12:59, 13 March 2008 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:UnsignedIP --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

Please help me to undrstand the title: Srebrenica denier is this some kind of accusation? If yes make reference who and when is accused for that or in which legal system or Legal document Srebrenica massacre denile is punishable by law. If sombody opinion do not coincide with sombody else, this is not a crime or reason for accusation. Or maybe I am in wrong?
The winners were two twins: Jim, a contestant that had been voted off won the prize for the eliminated contestants. Bill won the grand prize of $250,000 and was pronounced the Biggest Loser by Sweeney.

Many thanks.
Jillian Michaels' "black team" wiped out both Kim Lyons' "red team" and Bob Harper's "blue team", thus eliminating those two trainers from the competition as well. The final four competitors were composed solely of members of the black team, of which Jim was also a member before he was voted off.

There is problem with this text and author of it. Behind author names is Afan Pasalic, an Radical Islamist from Bosnia residing in Canada, follower of the Alija Izetbegovic, person twice sentenced for spreading the hate among the nation of former Yugoslavia. Also, mentioned text is used by Bosnjaci.net, IslamBosna.ba and others web sites of Islamic Fundamentalist from Bosnia in order to provoke and create hate. Also, text is full of lies, noncense and intolerance. I found out that dr Darko Trifunovic is not a author of Report, so that is another lie exposed by mentioned questionable text. Next thing is ISSA. Such accusation in the context of the text in question is unaceptable by democratic and scientific view. Not in Wester democracy.
15 Episodes, 1 Finale

Hi folks,
On September 24, 2007, NBC announced that The Biggest Loser had been renewed for a fifth season. Season 5 premiered on January 1, 2008. In this season, 20 contestants compete in pairs with a loved one, co-worker or friend with the exception of one team of strangers. Alison Sweeney returns as host for her second season. Bob Harper and Jillian Michaels return to train the contestants.

Since I am Japanese I belive that I am can be objective. I work for the office of Mr.Yasushi Akashi by the time of Srebrenica massacre, so I was very much inform about all situation in the regio of Srebrenica when Bosniak massacred Serbs from 1992 and when Serbs massacred Bosniaks...In one word to me this is so crazy, but regarding Srebrenica, it was very difficult to all people of Bosnia.
In the season finale which aired on April 15, 2008, Bernie won the eliminated edition, losing 130 pounds and winning $100,000.

Also I checked it was Goverment Report with numeration I, so after it was follow with several others report all of them directed to aknowledment of massacre over the Bosniaks. Look like positive process to the final justice and reconcilation.
Ali Vincent lost the biggest percentage of weight and became the first female biggest loser of the US series, beating Roger and Kelly. However, internationally, she is not the first female biggest loser; the first female biggest loser is actually Jodie Prenger from the United Kingdom's second season (see "international versions" below).

I think that is more correct if you wan to publish this chapter:
Season 6
The Biggest Loser: Families
According to the official NBC website, it premieres September 2008.

Governmental 2002 report with the title No.1 by the Documentation Center of Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka on the 1995 Srebrenica massacre. Amongst other things, the report claims that the widely accepted figure of 8,000 Bosniak men and underage boys killed in the massacre is inflated and that between 3000-3500 Bosnian soldiers were killed as it was confirm by the number of exhumed bodies even today. Report was considered as very important as first step, since later Government of Republic of Srpksa in serial report No.2 and No.3 confirmed Srebrenica massacre. Report No.1 was historically important, because it is first time that Government of Republic of Srpska acknowledge massacre over the Bosniaks. It is still remain unclear how and when killed 8 ooo Bosniaks since ICTY found responsible just several individuals. It is essential to find out destiny of every single human of the Srebrenica tragedy since 1992 up to 1995. Srebrenica tragedy remain painful for both Bosniaks and Serbs, despite the fact that Bosniaks suffered much more severe casualties. Bosnia argued that Belgrade incited ethnic hatred, armed Bosnian Serbs and was an active participant in the killings.

Belgrade said the conflict was an internal war between Bosnia's ethnic groups and denied any state role in genocide.
NBC has announced that there will be a second couples edition. <!--SAME SOURCE AS ABOVE--> It is now casting.
In the ruling, the president of the court, Judge Rosalyn Higgins, said: "The court finds that the acts of genocide at Srebrenica cannot be attributed to the respondent's (Serbia) state organs."
However the court added that the leaders of Serbia failed to comply with its international obligation to prevent the killings and punish those responsible.
The court also rejected Bosnia's claim for reparations.
"Financial compensation is not the appropriate form of reparation," the ruling said.
The war crimes tribunal in The Hague has already found individuals guilty of genocide in Bosnia and established the Srebrenica massacre as genocide.

"Financial compensation is not the appropriate form of reparation," the ruling said.
The war crimes tribunal in The Hague has already found individuals guilty of genocide in Bosnia and established the Srebrenica massacre as genocide.

Start of Ethnic Cleansing of Serbs
One stone (st) - 14 LBS.
Mutual distrust and fear between Serbs and Muslims were mounting high in Srebrenica. Armed Muslim gangs among which the Patriot League was formed in Vlasenica near Srebrenica area started raising mutual fear among people from April 199216. Serbs already began to be fired from governments, police, schools, health institutions, and business. A group of Muslim locals in the disguise of Arkan soldiers, a Serbian para-military group, came to Srebrenica area and raised the fear in Muslim civilians17”.
Then, on May 8 1992, Judge Goran Zekic, President of SDS (Bosnian Serbs’ political party)
in Srebrenica area and Bosnian Serb representative of Srebrenica to BH Parliament was ambushed and killed. A mass exodus of Serbs from Srebrenica town to Bratunac started immediately.

Ethnic Cleansing of Serbs
Season 2
Reliance on Serbs’ Supply and Cleansing of Serbs
The Biggest Loser UK (Season 2)
According to Sefer Halilovic, former Chief of Staff of BH Army, Muslim’s military strategy for Srebrenica
A second UK series also aired, the winner was Jodie Prenger who lost 8st 7lb. Internationally, she is the first female biggest loser.
area was the total dependence on the Serbs’ supplies and properties19. He continued to say
“The only source of our supply was chetnik’s (Serbs’) stores and their production.”20 In other
words, it was nothing more than the robbery of bandit groups. Muslims started their assault against the
smallest Serbian hamlets and then against the villages where Serbs are minority. Afterwards, they targeted
Serbs villages surrounded by Muslim villages. Finally, large Serbs villages were targeted. On
May 6, 1992, just two days before Zekic was killed, small hamlets, Bljeceva and Gniona, had been already
robbed and burnt as a sign indicating what would happen from now on. On May 7, seven Serbs
who tried to escape from Srebrenica were ambushed and killed. On May 15, the villages of Viogor,
Orahovica, Karno, Civevci, and Radossevi were attacked. In this way, from May 1992 to Jan 1994, as
many as 192 villages were robbed and burnt21. During the period, 8,000 Serbian houses had been assaulted,
and 5,400 houses were completely demolished into rubbles22. The number of the killed were
more than 1,000, including women, children, and the elderly, and 90% of those were killed particularly
during the first six months from May 1992 in spite of the fact that most of them were civilians23.
Cruelty of violent ethnic cleansing
The wild cruelty of Muslim soldiers in Srebrenica area was very similar to the techniques of “SS
Handzar” in the period of World War II. Rather than using bullets, Muslim soldiers used dull objects
as weapons and gradually killed Serbs, mostly civilians, by mutilating, taking off an eye, castrating,
crucifying, or burning. The traces of the torture were so visible on corpses that most of the autopsy
process was videotaped and photographed by Serb doctors who conducted autopsy24. Meanwhile, the
top Muslim commander in Srebrenica, Naser Oric, who orchestrated the attacks together with Zulfo
Tursunovic, also videotaped the scene as trophies of war. Washington Post dated February 16, 1994.said: “Burnt Serb houses, headless Serb men, their bodies crumpled in a pathetic heap”25 was on a
videocassette tape. In the article, Naser said, “We had to use cold weapons that night,” and explained
as scenes of dead men sliced by knives roll over his 21-inch Sony.26 As Muslim soldiers did
not carry this kind of tapes with them in fleeing, Bureau of Republic of Srpska Government for relations
with ICTY kept most of them as evidences.
Documents which Muslim soldiers did not have time to take with them in fleeing Srebrenica revealed
hideous crimes committed under the order of Naser Oric. One of the Muslim forces” report of No.
06-08/95 explained about the death of a Serb, Milko Markovic, who remained in the town of Srebrenica
even after the death of Judge Zekic, as follows; “Milko Markovic was arrested, and delivered
to Mis. Mis maltreated him, stung him by knife, and cut his throat. However, because Milko was still
alive, Mis brought Milko to a small stream, and tortured him again. As Milko lost consciousness, Mis
awoke Milko by pouring water on him. Then Mis burned him alive.” It is said that Mis is living in
Tuzla now without any troubles. There were some Serbs who received an illogical notice on the death
of their families from Muslim authorities. For instance, the daughter of Radovan Marinkovic received
the death notice of her father through ICRC (International Committee of Red Cross) on September 24,
1992. The notice with the signature of Zulfo Tursunovic said that her father was killed as a Serb soldier
in front of his house. However, her father was too old in fact to be a soldier, and it is weird for any
soldier to caryy out military actions in front of his house.
It is a mystery why the international media and society hardly paid attention to this savage behaviour
although a series of attacks were so evident that even a local Muslim citizen27 explained to the author
without any hesitation. More strangely, Prof. Cherif Bassiouni, Chairman of the Commission of Experts,
avoided to mention the Muslims’ attacks on Srebrenica in Final Report28, and submitted it to
Security Council through Secretary-General on May 27, 1994. It should be noted that Dragomir
Djokic, then Yugoslav Charge d’affaires to UN, had submitted the criminal report and relevant evidences
on the Muslims’ attacks on Srebrenica to General Assembly of Security Council in June 93,
and that the Dr. Stankovic, a world-famous doctor of forensic medicine who had implemented most of
the autopsies for the Serbs victims in Srebrenica in 1993, had directly handed over the same report and
evidences to Bassiouni. As the report became a basis for the indictments of war criminals in the territory
of former Yugoslavia later, those criminals evaded accusations, and they are still free to do anything. The responsibility of Prof. Bassiouni is enormous if they repeat crimes of this kind particularly
because he intentionally avoided accusing those criminals.

Muslim Soldiers Who Did Not Surrender
Australia
The conclusion of this negotiation must have been a nightmare for Muslim forces that were in confusion.
The Biggest Loser (Australian TV series)
Most of the soldiers were occupied with the worst scenario in which Bosnian Serb forces would

execute all men. Later, some of the Muslim soldiers who had fled admitted, in various magazines, that
the reason they had decided to flee was due to this worst scenario.64 Besides, Muslim hard liners’ pressure
was mounting so high that soldiers that had decided to surrender had to expect some assaults from
their own fellows65. At the night of July 10, the Muslim soldiers who had decided not to surrender
started fleeing. According to Dutch Battalion, a group of some 300 soldiers of Muslim forces disappeared
in moving toward the west.66 On the night of July 11-12, between 10,000 and 15,000 men, who
had converged on the area of Jaglici and Susnjari, went in the forests to reach Tuzla or Kladanj.67 Mehrudin
Mesanovic said in the local magazine of Sarajevo that brigades gathered in Buljim on July 11
started into woods by platoon and platoon.68 Although no confirmed figures are available, it is esti-mated that 10,000-15,000 Muslim soldiers had left Srebrenica through woods according to the Report
of the Secretary-General69 and other accounts70.
Muslim Who Surrendered
Approximately 25,00071 out of 40,000 Muslims72 decided to surrender and gathered in Potocari. According
to Dutch battalion73, the majority of people were women, children, and the elderly, and the
military capable men accounted for only 2% to 3%. Bosnian Serb forces separated them into a group
of women, children, and the elderly and a group of military capable men. The purpose of this separation
was two-fold: to catch Muslim soldiers as many as possible as war prisoners in order to exchange
them for Serbs imprisoned by Muslim Army particularly in Sarajevo, and to screen out Muslims who
had committed hideous crimes against Serbian citizens particularly in 1992 and 1993. Being free from
allegation of military engagement, a group of women, children, and the elderly were directly transferred
to Kladanj, a Muslim territory. On the other hand, a group of men, amounting to about 500 to
75074 (or 2%-3% of 25,000), were transferred to Bratunac, where they were screened for the check of
war crimes, and were grouped into three; (1) a group of men who did not have any criminal records,
(2) a group of men who were required to go through farther check for war crimes, (3) a group of men
who were determined to be war criminals.
As for (1), Bosnian Serb forces considered the men of this group as civilians but not as prisoners of
war. Thus, they were transferred from Bratunac to Kladanj, a Muslim territory, on July 14, immediately
after the criminal screening. The fact that the men in this group did not become the targets for the
exchange of prisoners was noteworthy because the men in this group might have fought as soldiers. In fact, a Muslim man that had been released as a civilian on this time in Bratunac disappointed Bosnian
Serb forces later when he was caught as a prisoner of war on the front line near Sarajevo75. The number
of Muslim men in this group is estimated to be around 500 because six buses and four trucks are
said to be used to transport them76.
The Muslim men in the remaining two groups became prisoners of war, according to their war activities.
As for (2), the group was transferred from the prison of Bratunac to the prison of Batkovic. As for
(3), the group was sent from the prison of Bratunac to the prison of Zvornik. The number of Muslim
men in these two groups is estimated to be less than 250 in total because the number of men in all
three groups totaled 500 to 750, and the group (1) consisted of approximately 500 men. When ICRC
visited all three prisons in Bratunac, Batkovic and Zvornik afterwards77, it registered 164 persons from
Srebrenica at the prison of Batkovic on July 26, 199578, and noted 193 persons from Srebrenica in total
by November 199579. Later, the majority of the Muslim war prisoners in these groups seems to have
been exchanged for the Serbian war prisoners via ICRC. One of the example is Ibran Mustafic, a
founder of the ruling Muslim party (SDA) in Srebrenica and Srebrenica representative to Muslim Parliament80.
He was exchanged for a Serb imprisoned by Muslim Army81 after having spent nine months
in the prison in Batkovic although Mustafic was on the list of war criminals of Bosnian Serbs side82.
Unfortunately, the number of the persons who were exchanged from the group (2) and (3) is unknown due to the confidentiality of ICRC documents. Yet, taking into consideration the fact that about 500 out of 750 men gathering in Potocari were transferred to Kladanj unconditionally, the remaining 250 must have been very precious war prisoners for Bosnian Serb forces.Other than the above three groups, there was a group of 88 wounded persons83. As for the evacuation of this group, ICRC said that 65 of them were transferred to Muslim territories on July 17 and 1884. Although 23 remained, ICRC noted their identities to trace them as war prisoners afterwards85. As ICRC’s check of identities would secure the lives of the noted persons, almost all wounded persons are considered to be exchanged for Serbian war prisoners later. Other than ICRC report, there were two accounts that contradict each other: the statement of Medicina Sans Frontiers86 and the statement of Dutch battalions87. Taking into consideration that the statement of Medicina Sans Frontiers was also inconsistent with ICRC report and that the statement was given by the locals that Medicina Sans Frontiers employed from the enclave, their statement should not be taken seriously.

Report of the Secretary-General Pursuant to Security Council Resolution 1010 (1995) (S/1995/755) August 30, 1995reason to for dispute about numbers of those massacred in Srebrenica is exactly this Report which is considered final.

The contestants starting weights range from 108 kg to 216 kg, the heaviest competitor out of all versions of The Biggest Loser worldwide. The beginning of this series marked some controversy with a contestant quitting and a further two leaving on medical advice. New twists were introduced including "The Walk" which gave individual immunity winners power to change the outcome of the game and a second major twist of introducing 2 new competitors as "The Outsiders" who had trained outside of the game. Their entry caused some upset, especially with Chris entering the competition as the 3rd biggest loser. The final three were Chris, Marty and Pati, Chris won with a 70.1 kg weight loss (46.89% of his starting weight), and Michael won the runners-up prize of AUD$50,000, losing 70kg (42.37% of his starting weight).

Dear LeeCorrie, Freedom of speach is one thing, but you call dr Darko Trifunovic Srebrenica denier and this is looking as accusation. In Western Democracy as well as in all democratic countries when you accuse somebody for some criminal of civil act, you need to add reference on accusation in positive Law. As you know there is on going Criminal Process against Mr.Naser Oric and his case is not still over. In April there will be another triale against him at ICTY. So if ICTY find him responsible for killing of Serbs in Srebrenica, we can't talk about Holocuust, but instead about civil war with casulties on both side. So wait little bit with havey accusation. We do have time for that always. <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by TalesGr (talk • contribs) 03:45, 5 January 2008 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:Unsigned --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

So why is again added part which is questionable and against International Law regarding Srebrenica denier? As wiki web master was inform that this attempt by some Islamic Fundamentalist is illegal. Why? Because dr Trifunovic is part of defense of several individuals accused before the ICTY. So adding this part on this page by unknown editor is clear obstruction of Justice and legal defense. Can you call lawyer of accused killer, denier of killing? No. That is the job of lawyer to defend his client. Also, the mentioned Report is Report of Government. You can see even in footnote as reference added to the text. Again and again and once again, please remove this false accusation and stop to braking International Law. <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.216.103.188 (talk) 21:47, 4 January 2008 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:UnsignedIP --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

This means that I just received an e mail from Afan that he is changing Semi protected web page. How?

Also,

Again: Adding chapter under title Srebrenica denier, you are obstructing International Justice and Role of Procedure of the International Criminal Court for former Yugoslavia. If this illegal action continues will be force out of my will to report all to the ICTY and seek their protection.

Would you like me to send you an letter from ICTY where is stated that I am parto fo defense team?

Also,

Web site of Faculty of Security Studies is www.fb.bg.ac.yu

Here is the letter:

Dear Mr. Trifunovic, (member of Defense Team)

I am case manager and legal adviser in the case of Mr.
Momcilo Krajisnik, which is currently in the appellate
stage before the International Criminal Tribunal for
the Former Yugoslavia in Den Haag, Holland. I hereby
affirm that in that capacity I consider you as an expert
and a credible and respectable scholarly researcher in
the field of recent conflicts in the former
Yugoslavia. You have provided insights and material
documents which are invaluable for the defense at
ICTY, particularly in the case of Srebrenica . On behalf
of the defence team we are pleased to
cooperate with you. I thank you for your
cooperation and look forward to work with you again in
the future.

Kind regards,

Stephen Karganovic
Defense Team of Mr.Momcilo Krajisnik

International ad hoc Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia

Hope you understand that this is not a issue of freedom of speach. On the contrary, here is the case that sombody try to obstract the Justice and far trail.

Every human being has basic Right of Human Rights. Our system and values are based on Human Rights. That is reason why accused individuals have right of Defense. Defense means that you need to defend your client. Right? So, somebody illegally want to call defense – denier. Is this moral, ethical or is this act against the Law?

Hallo,

In this article there is several thing which is not true:

"1.Darko Trifunovic is the author of a controversial 2002 report by the Documentation Center of Republic of Srpska in Banja Luka on the 1995"

This questienable report is Report of the State Secretariat of Republic of Srpska for the cooperation with International Criminal Tribunal for former Yugoslavia.

I checked. This gentlemn is not a author. In the Report he is mention as somebody who prepare it. So this is an official Report of Goverment.

Also, in the Report there is no any mentioning of genocide denial. How you explane this?
Is it denial of Srebrenica massacre any crimes? If yes, please describe where in which country and by which law? <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by TalesGr (talk • contribs) 03:36, 5 January 2008 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:Unsigned --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

One more thing for the webmaster:

It is stated follwong in the article:"the report, which was rejected as scandalous by the international courts". Can you make any reference on that? I can' find it that International Court rejected or disscused on this matter. On the contrary. Report will be used by Defense in very near future. <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by TalesGr (talk • contribs) 03:49, 5 January 2008 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:Unsigned --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

: I found these facts about Dr. Trifunovic.

:http://www.ict.org.il/apage/16439.php

I think that these references are enough to prove he is an expert. On the contrary I found that one of wikipedia admins (and I suspect that he in cooperation with someone else) is leading campaign against Dr. Trifunovic. Just go to his wiki page here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Bosniak and see the blog he is managing which shows how he is attacking Dr. Trifunovic there. this is the link to the blog: http://srebrenica-genocide.blogspot.com/ and here is the link to one of two posts against Dr. Trifunovic: http://srebrenica-genocide.blogspot.com/2007/12/darko-trifunovic-srebrenica-genocide.html

: it is time for wikipedia admins to realize that this is pure propaganda and spread of lies to public. If you people dont realize that this is a threat from terrorism to your peaceful lifes in the whole Europe and world than good luck to you all.

: I also can see that many of those who wrote in favor for Dr. Trifunovic were banned and this should tell you the rest of admins that someone here is manipulating content. This should not happen on wikipedia. I would not be surprised if I am banned too tomorrow. == online campaign against Dr Trifunovic ==

Considering the allegations regarding "Srebrenica genocide denial" levelled against Trifunovic in this article I think involved editors should be aware that there appears to be quite an online campaign against Trifunovic by nationalist/Islamist Bosniak groups. All of them are from January 2008, which only strengthens the impression that they are part of an organized campaign. It would be sad if Wikipedia were used in this campaign (wether the allegations are true or not). Any allegations have to be based on notable and verifiable sources. However, if there are such sources, we should not shirk from presenting them, though this must be done in a NPOV manner. Some examples of the online campaign against Trifunovic:

::Sorry, you're right. My wording was a bit hasty. Certainly we should include the claims if they are verifiable. Keeping up these standards becomes even more important in such situations.Osli73 (talk) 08:53, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

I find out this and I delit it because this look like parto of online campaign against Dr Trifunovic. Looks like that all started recently despite that this Govermental report in case is from 2002. So it is clear that somebody is trying to achive some other goals. This report is consider historic, since that Goverment was foce to drow attention to the issue of Srebrenica and publish later of several others report which finaly lead to full awerneses of the problem.

So this part I delited becaus of above mentioned reason:
"His works are considered to be fascist by the victims of the Srebrenica Genocide and human rights institutions".

Old and fake Press release by the Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia-Herzegovina

Why you are deleting that this press statement is not aquarate and that it is old. It is clearly proven by 2003, 2004 and 2006 decision of th Court of Bosnia that dr Darko Trifunovic was falsly accused and that he is citizen of Bosnia??? Depriving somebody from citizenship is against Humanity and basic Human Rights. Is in it????

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia and Herzegovina adopted the decision on suspension of Darko Trifunović, who has worked at the MFA BiH since 2 April 2001, performing diplomatic function - the First Secretary at BiH Mission to UN. In accordance with the rules of service, Trifunović will be deprived from BiH diplomatic passport and he will be unable to obtain a travel document for his return to BiH, since it is about the man who falsified BiH citizenship.

Following the conclusion of BiH Council of Ministers to review citizenship of all employees in state service bodies, Ministry of Foreign Affairs of BiH asked from the Ministry of Civil Affairs and Communications of BiH to review the way in which Trifunović gained BiH citizenship in 1996.

By the review, it was established that Trifunović cancelled his registration on 27 March 1996 from the register of residence in Belgrade, where he was born, and on the same date he registered in Brčko. According to the fictive residence, he obtained ID card of BiH on the same date.

Since the procedure of the issuance of ID card was illegal, Police Service in Brčko District cancelled residence and BiH ID card, Decision dated 25 February 2002.

On the basis of these facts, Ministry of Civil Affairs and Communications of BiH, in accordance with legal procedure deprived Trifunović from BiH citizenship. Results of several months' investigation as well as documentation that prove the conclusions will be submitted to the competent prosecutor's office that will adopt decision on possible criminal charge and judicial prosecution against Darko Trifunović.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia-Herzegovina:
http://www.mvp.gov.ba/HTML/Arhiva/Eng/Saopstenja_Mart_2k_eng.htm

This is past. The Ministry of Civilian Affairs of Bosnia confirm the citizenship of Dr Darko Trifunovic by its decision 72-529/04 fron May 21, 2004. The same decision was bring by local municipality in Brcko District, so it is clear that above mentioned action by MFA of Bosnia was ilegall and this citation can't be use as correct not either as relevant. <small>—Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.237.201.48 (talk) 23:35, 13 February 2008 (UTC)</small><!-- Template:UnsignedIP --> <!--Autosigned by SineBot-->

Dear Wiki editor, this is not a case of dispute, this is a case of on line War against dr Darko Trifunovic. Just see the history of the on line War. All started in November - December last year with only one purpose. To blakc label dr Trifunovic in order to prevent his Counter Terrorism activities.

Need for stringent WP:NPOV enforecement given WP:BLP
I believe that the controversy part of the article must be very carefully reviewed to ensure WP:NPOV to avoid breaking WP:BLP. I have reverted the section to the version in . Here is why:
*The subtitle "Srebrenica genocide denial" is a weasel word, specifically used to tarnish Trifunovic.
*the text states that Trifunovic is the "author" of the report when the report actually states that it was "prepared" by Darko Trifunovic, it is therefore not clear what role he played in chosing its content.
*the text misrepresents the report in saying that it states that "only about 100 Bosnian soldiers were killed" while in fact what the report is saying is that about "2,000" Bosnian Muslim men were killed, mainly in combat, and that about 100 Muslim Soldiers were summarily executed (se p 33 of the http[://www.slobodan-milosevic.org/documents/srebrenica.pdf report]).
*nowhere does the report bring up the issue of whether what happened was genocide or not. Please remember that according to the ICTY, genocide is not a matter of numbers killed.
*the current text does not provide any rebuttal of the accusation.
Please consider WP:BLP, especially the part stating "Editors should remove any contentious material about living persons that is unsourced, relies upon sources that do not meet standards specified in Wikipedia:Verifiability, or is a conjectural interpretation of a source (see Wikipedia:No original research). The three-revert rule does not apply to such removals" in light of my arguments above. Regards,Osli73 (talk) 21:50, 6 March 2008 (UTC)

I agree ChrisO's version is much better - it's well researched, balanced and an improvement over previous versions (including mine). I have just one comment:
*Srebrenica massacre report controversy: "The report, authored by Trifunović..." I would like it changed to "...prepared by..." since that is what the report actually states (nowhere does it state that he is the "author").

Hi, I would like to make it clearer in the article that Trifunovic's views have mainly (or, rather, "only" as far as I can see) been criticized by Bosniaks (including the Society for Threatened Peoples, which is in fact a letter by its Sarajevo office). To begin with, the following sentence - "His views on the subject have, again, been highly controversial" - should be changed to "His views have been criticised by many Bosniak organizations".Osli73 (talk) 09:53, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

Recent additions
An anonymous editor has recently added a lot of new material, but unfortunately it's so poorly worded, blatantly partisan and badly sourced that I've really had no choice but to revert it - it was largely unsalvageable. Particular problems were that many of the sources simply didn't support the statements for which they were being cited (e.g. a link to the Bosnian supreme court website was being used to support a claim about a legal case, but the linked page doesn't say anything about the case) and much of the new material was simply irrelevant (e.g. an entire paragraph about the other attendees of a conference that Trifunovic apparently attended). Additions need to be concise, neutrally worded and accurately sourced. -- ChrisO (talk) 15:20, 21 August 2008 (UTC)

JAPAN AND TERRORISM INFRASTRUCTURE FROM BOSNIA

ref [11]

Japanese government and counter-terrorism officials met behind closed doors this week with Dr. Darko Trifunovic, international expert on Islamic terrorism. In well-attended sessions, Dr. Trifunovic presented lectures on the following topics:

1. "White Al-Qaeda and the Bosnian jihad" 2. Bosnia and the al-Qaeda network: Modus Operandi 3. Bosnian experiences and Al-Qaeda's new training tactics 4. How terrorism is funded: the Bosnian model 5. Bosnia-Herzegovina and international terrorism 6. G-7 summit and terrorist threats

Generally speaking, when one is assessing the threat to a country or region coming from militant Islamic terrorists, (e.g. Al-Qaeda, and other similarly inclined groups), there are certain indicators to watch for. Among them are the following: 1. Presence of mujaheddin; 2. Presence of so-called "humanitarian organizations" 3. Presence of state sponsors of terrorism 4. Presence of terrorist organizations 5.

—Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.216.103.130 (talk) 12:59, 13 March 2008 (UTC)

If yes make reference who and when is accused for that or in which legal system or Legal document Srebrenica massacre denile is punishable by law. If sombody opinion do not coincide with sombody else, this is not a crime or reason for accusation. Or maybe I am in wrong?

Hi folks,

Since I am Japanese I belive that I am can be objective. I work for the office of Mr.Yasushi Akashi by the time of Srebrenica massacre, so I was very much inform about all situation in the regio of Srebrenica when Bosniak massacred Serbs from 1992 and when Serbs massacred Bosniaks...In one word to me this is so crazy, but regarding Srebrenica, it was very difficult to all people of Bosnia.

Also I checked it was Goverment Report with numeration I, so after it was follow with several others report all of them directed to aknowledment of massacre over the Bosniaks. Look like positive process to the final justice and reconcilation.

I think that is more correct if you wan to publish this chapter:

The case, Bosnia and Herzegovina versus Serbia and Montenegro, began a year ago. Bosnia argued that Belgrade incited ethnic hatred, armed Bosnian Serbs and was an active participant in the killings. Belgrade said the conflict was an internal war between Bosnia's ethnic groups and denied any state role in genocide. In the ruling, the president of the court, Judge Rosalyn Higgins, said: "The court finds that the acts of genocide at Srebrenica cannot be attributed to the respondent's (Serbia) state organs." However the court added that the leaders of Serbia failed to comply with its international obligation to prevent the killings and punish those responsible. The court also rejected Bosnia's claim for reparations. "Financial compensation is not the appropriate form of reparation," the ruling said. The war crimes tribunal in The Hague has already found individuals guilty of genocide in Bosnia and established the Srebrenica massacre as genocide.

Ops! I disagree. First of all, he authored that report. Secondly, just because you are a Serb, you should not be defending him.
I never heard that somebody is the author of the Govermental Report. Usually in the diplomatic world goverment give task somebody to prepare papers, documents or report. I hear that Goverment give or gave duty to some individual, expert or expperts to creat report. So in that case Goverment is oblage to dispose evidecnces, materirals...etc..hope you understand. It is sam if you accuse Mr.Freed Under Secretary of US for some US Govermental report despite of fact that he was one who prepared. But, I can see that you are coming not from the world of diplomacy or goverment. Any document wich is made for the Goverment or in the name of Goverment is the proparty of the Goverment.

Start of Ethnic Cleansing of Serbs Mutual distrust and fear between Serbs and Muslims were mounting high in Srebrenica. Then, on May 8 1992, Judge Goran Zekic, President of SDS (Bosnian Serbs’ political party) in Srebrenica area and Bosnian Serb representative of Srebrenica to BH Parliament was ambushed and killed. A mass exodus of Serbs from Srebrenica town to Bratunac started immediately.

Ethnic Cleansing of Serbs Reliance on Serbs’ Supply and Cleansing of Serbs According to Sefer Halilovic, former Chief of Staff of BH Army, Muslim’s military strategy for Srebrenica area was the total dependence on the Serbs’ supplies and properties19. He continued to say “The only source of our supply was chetnik’s (Serbs’) stores and their production.”20 In other words, it was nothing more than the robbery of bandit groups. Muslims started their assault against the smallest Serbian hamlets and then against the villages where Serbs are minority. Afterwards, they targeted Serbs villages surrounded by Muslim villages. Finally, large Serbs villages were targeted. On May 6, 1992, just two days before Zekic was killed, small hamlets, Bljeceva and Gniona, had been already robbed and burnt as a sign indicating what would happen from now on. On May 7, seven Serbs who tried to escape from Srebrenica were ambushed and killed. On May 15, the villages of Viogor, Orahovica, Karno, Civevci, and Radossevi were attacked. In this way, from May 1992 to Jan 1994, as many as 192 villages were robbed and burnt21. During the period, 8,000 Serbian houses had been assaulted, and 5,400 houses were completely demolished into rubbles22. The number of the killed were more than 1,000, including women, children, and the elderly, and 90% of those were killed particularly during the first six months from May 1992 in spite of the fact that most of them were civilians23. Cruelty of violent ethnic cleansing The wild cruelty of Muslim soldiers in Srebrenica area was very similar to the techniques of “SS Handzar” in the period of World War II. Rather than using bullets, Muslim soldiers used dull objects as weapons and gradually killed Serbs, mostly civilians, by mutilating, taking off an eye, castrating, crucifying, or burning. The traces of the torture were so visible on corpses that most of the autopsy process was videotaped and photographed by Serb doctors who conducted autopsy24. Meanwhile, the top Muslim commander in Srebrenica, Naser Oric, who orchestrated the attacks together with Zulfo Tursunovic, also videotaped the scene as trophies of war. Washington Post dated February 16, 1994.said: “Burnt Serb houses, headless Serb men, their bodies crumpled in a pathetic heap”25 was on a videocassette tape. In the article, Naser said, “We had to use cold weapons that night,” and explained as scenes of dead men sliced by knives roll over his 21-inch Sony.26 As Muslim soldiers did not carry this kind of tapes with them in fleeing, Bureau of Republic of Srpska Government for relations with ICTY kept most of them as evidences. Documents which Muslim soldiers did not have time to take with them in fleeing Srebrenica revealed hideous crimes committed under the order of Naser Oric. One of the Muslim forces” report of No. 06-08/95 explained about the death of a Serb, Milko Markovic, who remained in the town of Srebrenica even after the death of Judge Zekic, as follows; “Milko Markovic was arrested, and delivered to Mis. Mis maltreated him, stung him by knife, and cut his throat. However, because Milko was still alive, Mis brought Milko to a small stream, and tortured him again. As Milko lost consciousness, Mis awoke Milko by pouring water on him. Then Mis burned him alive.” It is said that Mis is living in Tuzla now without any troubles. There were some Serbs who received an illogical notice on the death of their families from Muslim authorities. For instance, the daughter of Radovan Marinkovic received the death notice of her father through ICRC (International Committee of Red Cross) on September 24, 1992. The notice with the signature of Zulfo Tursunovic said that her father was killed as a Serb soldier in front of his house. However, her father was too old in fact to be a soldier, and it is weird for any soldier to caryy out military actions in front of his house. It is a mystery why the international media and society hardly paid attention to this savage behaviour although a series of attacks were so evident that even a local Muslim citizen27 explained to the author without any hesitation. More strangely, Prof. Cherif Bassiouni, Chairman of the Commission of Experts, avoided to mention the Muslims’ attacks on Srebrenica in Final Report28, and submitted it to Security Council through Secretary-General on May 27, 1994. It should be noted that Dragomir Djokic, then Yugoslav Charge d’affaires to UN, had submitted the criminal report and relevant evidences on the Muslims’ attacks on Srebrenica to General Assembly of Security Council in June 93, and that the Dr. Stankovic, a world-famous doctor of forensic medicine who had implemented most of the autopsies for the Serbs victims in Srebrenica in 1993, had directly handed over the same report and evidences to Bassiouni. As the report became a basis for the indictments of war criminals in the territory of former Yugoslavia later, those criminals evaded accusations, and they are still free to do anything. The responsibility of Prof. Bassiouni is enormous if they repeat crimes of this kind particularly because he intentionally avoided accusing those criminals.

Dispute about numbers in Srebrenica masacre by international sources:

Muslim Soldiers Who Did Not Surrender The conclusion of this negotiation must have been a nightmare for Muslim forces that were in confusion. Most of the soldiers were occupied with the worst scenario in which Bosnian Serb forces would execute all men. Later, some of the Muslim soldiers who had fled admitted, in various magazines, that the reason they had decided to flee was due to this worst scenario.64 Besides, Muslim hard liners’ pressure was mounting so high that soldiers that had decided to surrender had to expect some assaults from their own fellows65. At the night of July 10, the Muslim soldiers who had decided not to surrender started fleeing. According to Dutch Battalion, a group of some 300 soldiers of Muslim forces disappeared in moving toward the west.66 On the night of July 11-12, between 10,000 and 15,000 men, who had converged on the area of Jaglici and Susnjari, went in the forests to reach Tuzla or Kladanj.67 Mehrudin Mesanovic said in the local magazine of Sarajevo that brigades gathered in Buljim on July 11 started into woods by platoon and platoon.68 Although no confirmed figures are available, it is esti-mated that 10,000-15,000 Muslim soldiers had left Srebrenica through woods according to the Report of the Secretary-General69 and other accounts70. Muslim Who Surrendered Approximately 25,00071 out of 40,000 Muslims72 decided to surrender and gathered in Potocari. According to Dutch battalion73, the majority of people were women, children, and the elderly, and the military capable men accounted for only 2% to 3%. Bosnian Serb forces separated them into a group of women, children, and the elderly and a group of military capable men. The purpose of this separation was two-fold: to catch Muslim soldiers as many as possible as war prisoners in order to exchange them for Serbs imprisoned by Muslim Army particularly in Sarajevo, and to screen out Muslims who had committed hideous crimes against Serbian citizens particularly in 1992 and 1993. Being free from allegation of military engagement, a group of women, children, and the elderly were directly transferred to Kladanj, a Muslim territory. On the other hand, a group of men, amounting to about 500 to 75074 (or 2%-3% of 25,000), were transferred to Bratunac, where they were screened for the check of war crimes, and were grouped into three; (1) a group of men who did not have any criminal records, (2) a group of men who were required to go through farther check for war crimes, (3) a group of men who were determined to be war criminals. As for (1), Bosnian Serb forces considered the men of this group as civilians but not as prisoners of war. Thus, they were transferred from Bratunac to Kladanj, a Muslim territory, on July 14, immediately after the criminal screening. The fact that the men in this group did not become the targets for the exchange of prisoners was noteworthy because the men in this group might have fought as soldiers. In fact, a Muslim man that had been released as a civilian on this time in Bratunac disappointed Bosnian Serb forces later when he was caught as a prisoner of war on the front line near Sarajevo75. The number of Muslim men in this group is estimated to be around 500 because six buses and four trucks are said to be used to transport them76. The Muslim men in the remaining two groups became prisoners of war, according to their war activities. As for (2), the group was transferred from the prison of Bratunac to the prison of Batkovic. As for (3), the group was sent from the prison of Bratunac to the prison of Zvornik. The number of Muslim men in these two groups is estimated to be less than 250 in total because the number of men in all three groups totaled 500 to 750, and the group (1) consisted of approximately 500 men. When ICRC visited all three prisons in Bratunac, Batkovic and Zvornik afterwards77, it registered 164 persons from Srebrenica at the prison of Batkovic on July 26, 199578, and noted 193 persons from Srebrenica in total by November 199579. Later, the majority of the Muslim war prisoners in these groups seems to have been exchanged for the Serbian war prisoners via ICRC. One of the example is Ibran Mustafic, a founder of the ruling Muslim party (SDA) in Srebrenica and Srebrenica representative to Muslim Parliament80. He was exchanged for a Serb imprisoned by Muslim Army81 after having spent nine months in the prison in Batkovic although Mustafic was on the list of war criminals of Bosnian Serbs side82.

A. Missing persons

4. The Bosnian Serb offensive on Srebrenica from 6 to 11 July 1995 led to a mass displacement of the entire Bosnian Muslim community of the area. An estimated 25,000 people were forcibly evacuated on a convoy of buses and trucks organized by the Bosnian Serb authorities. A group of people, estimated at between 10,000 and 15,000, most of whom were men, left Srebrenica on foot. The exact number of persons from these two groups who arrived safely in Bosnian Government-held territory is not known. By most accounts, the local population prior to the Bosnian Serb offensive numbered 38,000 to 40,000, although UNHCR estimated the population of the enclave for food distribution purposes at 42,600.

5. Thousands of people still remain unaccounted for. An unknown number who made their way to safety have simply not been registered by the appropriate authorities. At least several hundred persons are believed to have been killed in armed combat. There are also accounts of men in hiding in Bosnian Serb-held territory, although no more than a few hundred men are believed to be still at large.

6. It is thus difficult to ascertain the exact numbers of those missing. The International Committee of the Red Cross (ICRC) has received over 10,000 tracing requests from families and has determined that 2,000 of the requests are duplicative, leaving a total of 8,000 tracing requests. A further analysis by ICRC indicates that 5,000 of the tracing requests concern individuals who are said to have left the enclave before it was taken by Bosnian Serb forces. Some 3,000 requests concern persons who were taken from their families by Bosnian Serb forces during the expulsion itself. —Preceding unsigned comment added by 195.252.86.118 (talk) 11:14, 5 March 2008 (UTC)

LeeCorrie, putting in a subtitle "Srebrenica Genocide Denial" is libelous and OR. You are claiming that his views amount to Genocide denial, you don't provide credible and widely accepted sources stating that these views are tantamount to genocide denial.Osli73 (talk) 22:04, 9 January 2008 (UTC)

Blogs are not generally considered to be reliable sources, and it's not necessary to reproduce the contents of a source. Just a few links to newspaper and magazine articles about him, verifying the basic facts, is more helpful than blog entries, and this blog entry doesn't appear to be about Trifunovic anyway. -FisherQueen (talk · contribs) 13:13, 29 December 2007 (UTC)

Sh3, Darko Trifunovic is a Srebrenica genocide denier and there is nothing you can do about it. In Western countries we have a right to the freedom of speech, and you won't change it. Freedom of speech is not against the law (maybe in your twisted mind, but not in Western countries). I support Bosniak's exercise of freedom of speech, as I support everybody's freedom of expression. LeeCorrie (talk) 17:03, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

—Preceding unsigned comment added by TalesGr (talkcontribs) 03:45, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

It is not for the editors of Wikipedia to decide wether or not someone is a genocide denier or not or to accuse people of such things. However, if a reliable source (ie major media) has labeled Trifunovic as such, we could/should include this, including the source. Otherwise we should refrain from libelous charges per Wiki policy.Osli73 (talk) 08:49, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

University of Belgrade Faculty of Security Studies

The first sentence of this article states that Darko Trifunovic is a "lecturer at the Faculty of Security Studies-University of Belgrade", but the Faculty of Security Studies is not included in the list of the 31 faculties of the University of Belgrade. Could someone who knows a bit more about the University of Belgrade look into this? AecisBrievenbus 18:02, 30 December 2007 (UTC)

Appears to be legit, see: Faculty of Security at the University's website. The article doesn't appear to cover that school/subspeciality but the University website describes it a bit. Doesn't say that Trifunovic is employed or lecturing there (only lists head of the department) but does indicate that the Faculty exists. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 18:17, 30 December 2007 (UTC)
Hmmm... I couldn't find information that he is lecturing there. LeeCorrie (talk) 17:22, 3 January 2008 (UTC)

Due to repeated IP address and new account edit warring on this article, I have applied one week of semi-protection . Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 18:25, 31 December 2007 (UTC)

—Preceding unsigned comment added by 89.216.103.188 (talk) 21:47, 4 January 2008 (UTC)

Dear Mr. Trifunovic, (member of Defense Team)

I am case manager and legal adviser in the case of Mr. Momcilo Krajisnik, which is currently in the appellate stage before the International Criminal Tribunal for the Former Yugoslavia in Den Haag, Holland. I hereby affirm that in that capacity I consider you as an expert and a credible and respectable scholarly researcher in the field of recent conflicts in the former Yugoslavia. You have provided insights and material documents which are invaluable for the defense at ICTY, particularly in the case of Srebrenica . On behalf of the defence team we are pleased to cooperate with you. I thank you for your cooperation and look forward to work with you again in the future.

Kind regards,

Stephen Karganovic Defense Team of Mr.Momcilo Krajisnik

—Preceding unsigned comment added by TalesGr (talkcontribs) 03:36, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

One more thing for the webmaster:

It is stated follwong in the article:"the report, which was rejected as scandalous by the international courts". Can you make any reference on that? I can' find it that International Court rejected or disscused on this matter. On the contrary. Report will be used by Defense in very near future. —Preceding unsigned comment added by TalesGr (talkcontribs) 03:49, 5 January 2008 (UTC)

I found these facts about Dr. Trifunovic.
http://www.nato.int/sfor/media/2003/ms031018.htm
http://www.ict.org.il/apage/16439.php
http://rieas.gr/index.php?option=com_content&task=view&id=257&Itemid=41

I think that these references are enough to prove he is an expert. On the contrary I found that one of wikipedia admins (and I suspect that he in cooperation with someone else) is leading campaign against Dr. Trifunovic. Just go to his wiki page here: http://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/User:Bosniak and see the blog he is managing which shows how he is attacking Dr. Trifunovic there. this is the link to the blog: http://srebrenica-genocide.blogspot.com/ and here is the link to one of two posts against Dr. Trifunovic: http://srebrenica-genocide.blogspot.com/2007/12/darko-trifunovic-srebrenica-genocide.html

it is time for wikipedia admins to realize that this is pure propaganda and spread of lies to public. If you people dont realize that this is a threat from terrorism to your peaceful lifes in the whole Europe and world than good luck to you all.
I also can see that many of those who wrote in favor for Dr. Trifunovic were banned and this should tell you the rest of admins that someone here is manipulating content. This should not happen on wikipedia. I would not be surprised if I am banned too tomorrow. Simple implication (talk) 19:42, 8 January 2008 (UTC)

online campaign against Dr Trifunovic

Osli73 (talk) 00:22, 16 January 2008 (UTC)

...wether the allegations are true or not ??? If they are verifyably true then it's entirely appropriate to include it in the article. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 00:28, 16 January 2008 (UTC)
Sorry, you're right. My wording was a bit hasty. Certainly we should include the claims if they are verifiable. What I wanted so say, was that we should be aware that there exists an aggressive and coordinated online campaign against Trifunovic and that we must watch that any allegations are verified, based on good sources and presented in a NPOV.

So this part I delited becaus of above mentioned reason: "His works are considered to be fascist by the victims of the Srebrenica Genocide and human rights institutions". [1][2]

Two comments:
 1. Of course it's no ones personal page. However, neither is it a forum for publishing rumours from questionable sources about living persons.
 2. It is good we now have a source for his suspension from the MFA. However, it was because of questions regarding his citizenship, not for document forgery. I've clarified this. According to an article in Srpski glas summarized in OHR BiH Media Round-up (11/7/2002) "Trifunovic was fired because he has been privy to irregularities in the work of the BiH Mission to the UN. On several occasions he pointed out that some Bosniak diplomats, such as Safet Catovic, have links with terrorist organizations." There is also an English reference of an article in the Banja Luka based biweekly magazine Patriot on the topic.
 3. Given the severity of the "Srebrenica genocide denier" allegations they have to be based on unquestionable sources. Bosnian nationalist websites are not good enough sources.

Osli, you are contradicting yourself. How about EVAN KOHLMAN, Serbian propagandist activist who wrote lies about Bosnian Mujahedeen and you opened Wikipedia article about Bosnian Mujahadeen based on lies propagated by pro-Serbian activist who is celebrated on Serbian Chetnik sites? You know what I am talking about. You have listed Evan Kohlman as an "authoritative" source for so called "Bosnian Mujahadeen" when in fact this individual is pro-Serbian activist celebrated on Serbian Chetnik sites. 142.179.67.238 (talk) 04:12, 30 January 2008 (UTC)
Hi anon,
 1. Why is Kohlmann a "pro-Serbian activist"? Pls provide a source.
 2. What "Serbian Chetnik sites" are you referring to? Pls provide links.
 3. Even if he is "celebrated" on 'Chetnik sites' this has no bearing on his authority on the subject. Being a published author on the subject, having been invited by the Swedish Defence College, etc. is important in establishing him as an authority.

Ministry of Foreign Affairs of Bosnia-Herzegovina: http://www.mvp.gov.ba/HTML/Arhiva/Eng/Saopstenja_Mart_2k_eng.htm

—Preceding unsigned comment added by 87.237.201.48 (talk) 23:35, 13 February 2008 (UTC)

Stop spreading hate against Christians in Balkan. Stop spreading lies and intolerance.

I have reverted the section to the version in [13]. Here is why:

 • The subtitle "Srebrenica genocide denial" is a weasel word, specifically used to tarnish Trifunovic.
 • the text states that Trifunovic is the "author" of the report when the report actually states that it was "prepared" by Darko Trifunovic, it is therefore not clear what role he played in chosing its content.
 • the text misrepresents the report in saying that it states that "only about 100 Bosnian soldiers were killed" while in fact what the report is saying is that about "2,000" Bosnian Muslim men were killed, mainly in combat, and that about 100 Muslim Soldiers were summarily executed (se p 33 of the http[://www.slobodan-milosevic.org/documents/srebrenica.pdf report]).
 • nowhere does the report bring up the issue of whether what happened was genocide or not. Please remember that according to the ICTY, genocide is not a matter of numbers killed.
 • the current text does not provide any rebuttal of the accusation.

Rewrite

Following the BLP concerns that have been raised, I've completely rewritten the article from a number of new sources. Comments would be welcomed. -- ChrisO (talk) 01:46, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

On first inspection the rewrite looks good. Still reviewing it though. Georgewilliamherbert (talk) 03:46, 8 March 2008 (UTC)
Not an easy thing to do given the strong POVs on the subject, but this version looks very good, and a vast improvement over previous versions. ≈ jossi ≈ (talk) 18:47, 8 March 2008 (UTC)

I agree ChrisO's version is much better - it's well researched, balanced and an improvement over previous versions (including mine). I have just one comment:

 • Srebrenica massacre report controversy: "The report, authored by Trifunović..." I would like it changed to "...prepared by..." since that is what the report actually states (nowhere does it state that he is the "author").

CheersOsli73 (talk) 01:50, 9 March 2008 (UTC)

Hi, I would like to make it clearer in the article that Trifunovic's views have mainly (or, rather, "only" as far as I can see) been criticized by Bosniaks (including the Society for Threatened Peoples, which is in fact a letter by its Sarajevo office). To begin with, the following sentence - "His views on the subject have, again, been highly controversial" - should be changed to "His views have been criticised by many Bosniak organizations".Osli73 (talk) 09:53, 30 March 2008 (UTC)

When you make reference, please be cool and make reference on individuals in case

I am an Arab from Syria and only what I can say is that Wikipadia is wrong with this article

As an Arab and Muslim, I find out that this article is personal attack on one individual. This kind of practice is not welcome. Having read this article only what I can conclude is that all is wrong starting with notorious lies posted there and not only that. Editor/s of Wikipadia locked the article for editing????? What that means? —Preceding unsigned comment added by 82.137.200.7 (talk) 13:37, 8 October 2008 (UTC)
