Alyssa Wong is an Filipina-American author of speculative fiction.[1] She has published short fiction and poetry[2], and studies fiction at North Carolina State University.[3] She is a finalist for the 2016 John W. Campbell Award for Best New Writer.[4]

Her short story "Hungry Daughters of Starving Mothers"[3] won the 2016 Nebula Award for Best Short Story[5], and was a finalist for the Shirley Jackson Award[6], the Locus Award for Best Short Story[7], and the Bram Stoker Award for Short Fiction[8].
