CHERUB: The Fall is the seventh book of the CHERUB series written by Robert Muchamore. It concerns Laurens first solo mission.

Plot

James is in Aero City, a Russian town owned and presided over by Denis Obidin. The MI5 agents he is staying with go out to dinner, and he falls asleep during a powercut. Unfortunately, later that night the flat is stormed. He survives by luck and martial arts skills. However, he is recognised by a band of yobs, who capture him to hand over for 25,000 roubles. The Obidin employee appears to take him away, but it turns out to be a CIA agent. The agent shows James footage of the MI5 agents murdering Denis Obidin, before abandoning him and telling him to find his own way out. He uses a phone to call CHERUB, who send a jet to pick him up. After a firefight, they escape. When he returns to Campus everyone does not like him and he gets more than he bargains for when Bruce and James have to help a young red shirt to pass his fear of heights. At the end he breaks up with Kerry in their trainwreck relationship and breaks his virginity at the age of only 15.
