Traditional counties

The addition of "Traditional county: Lancashire" seems to me to be quite accurate. Why is this constantly being reverted (with the reason given as "vandalism by Countywatch vandal")? So far as I know, Knowsley was once part of Lancashire, so there shouldn't be any problem with listing it as the "traditional county", no? David L Rattigan 17:29, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Knowsley still is part of Lancashire. 84.9 is a complete nutter who has been banned for his incessant vandalism and refusal to comply with agreed naming conventions. Lancsalot 18:06, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
No it isn't. I wasn't banned for vandalism it was for calling idiots idiots, and pointing out several POV warriors like yourself, it was characterized as personal attacks, but up to you normal levels of accuracy--84.9.193.155 21:33, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
It was "historically" part of Lancashire it's not a matter of tradition. The group going around adding this claim that a comment by an undersecrtary means that traditional counties exists as entities in their own right. It is rubbish.--84.9.193.155 21:33, 1 June 2006 (UTC)[reply]
