Slovak Air Force (1939–1945)

The Slovenske Vzdusne Zbrane ("Slovak Air Force") (SVZ) was the air force of the short-lived World War II Slovak Republic. Its mission was to provided air support and recon in fronts,amongst to protect Bratislava and metropolitan areas against enemy air strikes. These unit was support Axis Powers offensives in Ukraine and Russian Central front under led of Luftwaffe to Stalingrad and Caucasus operations.

For other part Slovakian A.F. was confronted at USAAF and RAF during raids against Territoire during same period.these air force used the major part of your war material and equipment in Eastern Front with great losses of aircraft and personnel. The symbol of Slovakian A.F. was a white-blue with red circle cross in Tail and wings amongst yellow paint in engine cover and vertical line in fuselage.theirs received from Germans and Italians aircraft for training and defensive use.

When Romanians and Russians enter in Slovakia, with some captured aircrafts and defectors organized one local Insurgent Air Force for continuing the fight against Axis forces in country, others served in voluntarily Luftwaffe units; later these air unit was integrated to National Air Force after the conflict.
