Notes for later expansion - The Freeway to Wanneroo Road part of the road, together with Coyle Road/Craigie Drive and Mullaloo Drive, were originally gazetted as a road to Mullaloo Beach (which first emerged around 1966 as a coastal resort, but grew slowly due mainly to Perth people buying second homes there and lack of services - didn't even have mains power by 1969). Next section (Freeway to Marmion Avenue) was built before 1977 (date?) to service the new suburbs of Heathridge and Beldon. Between 1981 and 1984 sometime, the roads adopted their current alignment and the Marmion-boat harbour section was built. Wangara section built in early 1990s. 1999 or 2000 - extended 100m to link with Hodges Drive; 2006 expanded to Shenton Avenue. [[User talk:Orderinchaos78|Orderinchaos78]] 03:22, 16 January 2007 (UTC)
