Blue Balliett

Ms. Balliett was born in New York. She now lives in Chicago, IL in a neighborhood called Hyde Park. She has written books before Chasing Vermeer. These books are the Nantucket Ghost series. Ms. Balliett got a job teaching at the University of Chicago Laboratory Schools. I know from being in her class that she was a great teacher. Ms. Balliett is the author of Chasing Vermeer which has won many awards.
