The Universidade Estadual do Ceará (UECe) is the second largest university in the State of Ceará, Brazil. The university has 26 undegraduate courses, and several graduate-level courses. The main campus of the university is in Itaperi, a neighborhood of Fortaleza. The UECe has more than 21 thousand students, being 18 thousand undergraduate students, and more than 3 thousand graduate students.
