He learned that the origin of their first attack was in London England but sources showed they originated from the jungles of South America, not in the future but in the past. When Sir Charles landed ashore he did not hesitate but left immediately in search for his friend , it was not easy finding him. He was living in a band of gorilla, with his higher intelligence he seemed to be the leader of the band. Tu was very happy to see his friend, but admitted he was happy where he was but sought a more academic life which the jungle could not provide. He agreed to take the serum, miraculously it worked exactly as Sir Charles predicted Tu could transform from human to gorilla form at will. |

Both Sir Charles and Tu left the jungle for civilization, when they arrived there were English soldiers awaiting for Sir Charles were urgent information. They advised Sir Charles that England was in peril, that many people were leaving for a new life as Mr. M had been causing carnage and destruction upon the once peaceful country. The country was being decimated by none other than Mr. M and his minions of flying grizzly bears, Mr. M had created a hybrid of grizzly bear and enhanced albatross as his personal guard and were virtually unstoppable. Realising that Mr. M and his minions could only be stopped by Manbearpanther accepted the Queens plea and would return. Sir Charles asked Tu if he would return, Tu gladly accepted as he felt he needed to clear a debt for all the help he had given him. As the x professor now Sir Charles was boarding her majesties personal ship back to England the English soldiers stated that Tu could not travel on this ship as he was not a citizen of the British Empire and as it was a Royal ship he could not travel this vessel. Sir Charles was outraged but Tu calmly said he would get to England by other means, as there was no time to argue they said their farewell and Sir Charles left for England. |

Mende would could not be reasoned with, Mr. M's serum had some sort of effect that was causing an unstoppable rage. Due to Mendes’s unsound mind he had grown hate for humanity he had also become addicted to the drug. Charles had to stop Mr. M from taking the drug and bring him back to his normal self as he could not be reasoned with. At first he tried to persuade Mr. M, A part deep within seemed to be listen.. But Charles was tricked as, as soon Charles' guard was down Mr. M sent his flying beasts upon him. Quickly transforming into Manbearpanther he fought his minions but could not fight both Mr . M and the minions as they were just too much on his own. Mr. M looked at Manbearpanther as he was fighting his minions in hysterics, he had a look of victory upon his face. The battle was looking grim and Manbearpanther being heavily outmanned by his opponents was almost at the point of giving up Tu came into the fight stopping the minions! As he fought the minions Manbearpanther was free to take on Mr. M. |

With Manbearpanther’s great speed and determination, fought Mr. M, he underestimated the x professors abilities, his speed was more than enough to out match Mr. M's, Mr. M was not willing to risk a loss even though the two were quite evenly matched due to Mr. M’s strength. Mr. M concluded that he could not fight this fight. Mr. M had a trick up his sleeve and activated his final weapon. The professor was first not sure what Mr. M was doing, he had a handheld version of the time machine with miniaturized flux capacitor. Mr. M activated it and left back to the future once again. Manbearpanther then helped Tu defeat the last of Mr. M’s minions. |

Tu and Charles left in search of Mr. M’s lair for clues of what had just transpired. Not after long in Manbearpanther form he found it, with his keen sense of direction and smell it did not take long at all. They had found Mende's journal, it had how he created his own version of the time machine and answered many questions about his past or yet his future. Charles re-created the time machine without hesitation himself and Tu and left back to the future to stop Mr. M. |

Although his work was not accessible to public, others tried to duplicate his work which was not successful, until Dr Mende Johnstone his brother also known as Mr. M became jealous of Charles he knew his identity and became angry as he felt he was still a man from the jungle, and began working on a formula himself. Mr. M successfully created a formula similar to that of the Manbearpanther serum, the only difference was that Mr. M created a serum which could transform him into a form he called a Manrhinodillo; the characteristics of a man the strength and horn of a rhino with its thick skin and also an armadillos armor plating, with his sheer strength was virtually unstoppable.
Mr. M was not like his younger brother he wanted and sought power; Mende used his new obtained powers to take whatever he wanted as his strength could not be out matched, no one could stop him. Charles did not try to stop Mr. M at this time as he had a new view on life after witnessing a innocent civilian die at the hands of his brother Mende he felt responsible as he created the formula first. He wanted to change the world with words not violence and force, he decided to teach the children as they are the future and opened a school called Charles Johnstone's Center For Kids Who Can't Read Good And Wanna Learn To Do Other Stuff Good.
For a short time Charles had found a new passion in life as a novelist/teacher. He started to write children's novels such as "Don't look under your bed because the boogie man might grab you and drag you away so that your parents can no longer find you." and "The story of the boy who went for a long walk by himself and got lost and ended up on the other side of the country because he had no sense of direction." Both novels were published and became best sellers in their time. He was then known as professor Charles Johnstone. When he was not teaching he was researching a new formula, he wanted to help his friend Tu. Tu had to leave as the people could not learn to accept him because of his appearance. Professor Charles’ knowledge had far surpassed his earlier works and created a new serum that could allow Tu to transform into a human then back to his gorilla form at will as well. He decided that he had to leave the school and help his friend. As he was preparing for the journey to South America he received a telegram from none but Queen Victoria for Knighthood. He replied stating he would not attend as matters at hand were more important.
Charles left to the wharf where his ship was awaiting his arrival. Not only was the ship awaiting him but the a royal departure was assembled with Queen Victoria awaiting. The Ceremony was brief but was as the Queen stated necessary as he had done so much for the country and his work more than appreciated by its country and people. Sir Charles Johnstone then departed for his long journey back to South America. When When Sir Charles landed ashore he did not hesitate but left immediately in search for his friend , it was not easy finding him. He was living in a band of gorilla, with his higher intelligence he seemed to be the leader of the band. Tu was very happy to see his friend, but admitted he was happy where he was but sought a more academic life which the jungle could not provide. He agreed to take the serum, miraculously it worked exactly as Sir Charles predicted Tu could transform from human to gorilla form at will.
Both Sir Charles and Tu left the jungle for civilization, when they arrived there were English soldiers awaiting for Sir Charles were urgent information. They advised Sir Charles that England was in peril, that many people were leaving for a new life as Mr. M had been causing carnage and destruction upon the once peaceful country. The country was being decimated by none other than Mr. M and his minions of flying grizzly bears, Mr. M had created a hybrid of grizzly bear and enhanced albatross as his personal guard and were virtually unstoppable. Realising that Mr. M and his minions could only be stopped by Manbearpanther accepted the Queens plea and would return. Sir Charles asked Tu if he would return, Tu gladly accepted as he felt he needed to clear a debt for all the help he had given him. As the x professor now Sir Charles was boarding her majesties personal ship back to England the English soldiers stated that Tu could not travel on this ship as he was not a citizen of the British Empire and as it was a Royal ship he could not travel this vessel. Sir Charles was outraged but Tu calmly said he would get to England by other means, as there was no time to argue they said their farewell and Sir Charles left for England.
Once he arrived in England he was greeted by Mr. M, Sir Charles pleaded he stop the mindless killing, but Mende had become addicted to the pain of the weak, it would be safe to say it brought him pleasure to a great degree. Mende would could not be reasoned with, Mr. M's serum had some sort of effect that was causing an unstoppable rage. Due to Mendes’s unsound mind he had grown hate for humanity he had also become addicted to the drug. Charles had to stop Mr. M from taking the drug and bring him back to his normal self as he could not be reasoned with. At first he tried to persuade Mr. M, A part deep within seemed to be listen.. But Charles was tricked as, as soon Charles' guard was down Mr. M sent his flying beasts upon him. Quickly transforming into Manbearpanther he fought his minions but could not fight both Mr . M and the minions as they were just too much on his own. Mr. M looked at Manbearpanther as he was fighting his minions in hysterics, he had a look of victory upon his face. The battle was looking grim and Manbearpanther being heavily outmanned by his opponents was almost at the point of giving up Tu came into the fight stopping the minions! As he fought the minions Manbearpanther was free to take on Mr. M.
With Manbearpanther’s great speed and determination, fought Mr. M, he underestimated the x professors abilities, his speed was more than enough to out match Mr. M's, Mr. M was not willing to risk a loss even though the two were quite evenly matched due to Mr. M’s strength. Mr. M concluded that he could not fight this fight. Mr. M had a trick up his sleeve and activated his final weapon. The professor was first not sure what Mr. M was doing, he had a handheld version of the time machine with miniaturized flux capacitor. Mr. M activated it and left back to the future once again. Manbearpanther then helped Tu defeat the last of Mr. M’s minions.
Mr. M needed to be stopped he decided that he would have to stop him at all costs not matter what time he may be in. Tu and Charles left in search of Mr. M’s lair for clues of what had just transpired. Not after long in Manbearpanther form he found it, with his keen sense of direction and smell it did not take long at all. They had found Mende's journal, it had how he created his own version of the time machine and answered many questions about his past or yet his future. Charles re-created the time machine without hesitation himself and Tu and left back to the future to stop Mr. M.
He Now lives a double life as a call customer service representative with Tu during the day but at night, MANBEARPANTHER!!
Mr. M in present time has near succeeded in creating his army of cyber monkeys once prophesized by his father Dr Grant, the day of judgment has almost arrived, our only defense is our savior.
Charles Johnstone the hero the people deserve, the one they need right now. Even if he's hunted he knew he can take it. Because he's not the peoples hero. He's a silent guardian, a watchful protector. A dark Manbearpanther.
