Diplocercides is a genus of prehistoric lobe-finned fish which lived during the Late Devonian and Carboniferous period (between 359 and 397 million years BCE). It belongs to the group of coelacanth. Fossils of Diplocercides have been found in Germany, Iran, Ireland and Poland (and possibly in South Africa in 1937).
