WAGR Y class

WAGR Y class is a type of diesel electric locomotive introduced in 1953, that was operated by Western Australian Government Railways. Eighteen locomotives were built by the British Thomson-Houston company, with Clayton Equipment acting as sub contractor, and diesel engines supplied by Paxman.
