Template:Sharksportal The narrowtail catshark, Schroederichthys maculatus, is a cat shark of the family Scyliorhinidae found off Honduras and Nicaragua between latitudes 18° N - 10° N, at depths of between 190 and 410 m. Its length is up to 33 cm.

The narrowtail catshark is found on the continental outer shelf and upper slope. It prefers fine white calcareous material as a substrate, and feeds on small bony fishes and cephalopods. It is not commercially utilized at present.

Reproduction is oviparous.
