:I see. I'm also a fan of webcomics, though I only really read 8-bit theatre. It just seems that you have some kind of grudge or something, the way so systematically nominate them. :). No no, this isn't grudge. This is just me opening a bunch of pages from the category, putting them all up for AFD, then waiting for general consensus before I put up another 5 or 10. I figure if I did them all at once and people had an issue with it, I'd have wasted some people's time. Best to take it a little at a time. --[[User:BradBeattie|Brad Beattie]] [[User talk:BradBeattie|(talk)]] 01:53, 31 October 2006 (UTC)

Re: A quick note

Err, I guess you didn't check my userpage. I actually have my political compass score there: Econ -8.25 Social -8.00. I don't trust representatives to represent anyone but themselves and their financial backers. Economically I'm in favor of a gift economy based on mutual aid and voluntary association without any government to speak of, except perhaps consensus direct democracy. I'm also strongly in favor of decentralization. I lean towards post-leftist anarchism which is largely due to crimethInc.'s writings. And I'll just respond to a few of the criticisms you may have now. Yes, it will be incredibly inefficient in terms of economic production, which I like. People are pushed to the limit in our society to compete and sell their labor just for enough to eat or get a few more consumer goods, which is detrimental to relationships (friends, families, lovers), mental health, physical health, spiritual health, not to mention the environment. And yes, it won't happen overnight and will take a lot of time to get people willing to agree to such a system, and I fully realize that the only way to bring it about is to get people to start doing it--it can't be imposed from above. Trial drafted on User:DoomsDay349/WikiPlomacy/Trial1. Edit as needed.--EdI'm lonely, talk to me contribs 19:26, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I just realised there is another court page at User:Editor at Large/Courtroom. Which one shall we use?--EdI'm lonely, talk to me contribs 19:50, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
  • ahem* executive decision overruled. I'm the judge, it's my courtroom. You can have a trial page under your username that has {{User:Editor at Large/Courtroom}}, but I'm editing on my page. And the trial will start as soon as all positions are filled.

Read the message I left Ed about jurors. — Editor at Large(speak) 21:07, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

yep, just get Ed to fill his spots, or Aleith and Biblio if they want to participate. Biblio might want to be security to intervene when things get heated. — Editor at Large(speak) 21:13, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]
Am back (stuff put off 40 minutes -- 35 now). Overview of court procedures will be listed at User:Editor at Large/Courtroom/Court procedures. Not there yet, but prepare yourself. — Editor at Large(speak) 23:24, 28 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Caption competition

I see that you're a WP:ESP/CL caption competition judge. Would you please rate my late entry? --Friendly PorpoiseJoin the pod! 02:01, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Mark Dratch

So what's wrong with the page on Mark Dratch? He's a highly respected rabbi who runs an organization that helps people who have been victimized? I keep looking at the page and can't figure out what the big deal is? — Preceding unsigned comment added by DannyCohen (talkcontribs)

I expanded the David Ohanian article and removed the speedy tag that you added. It's still not a perfect article, but the subject is notable. --TruthbringerToronto (Talk | contribs) 04:57, 29 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

I wasn't trying to get the article deleted, I thought I was doing the right thing. But thanks for the advice! I'll keep trying on AFD's! --SunStar Net 23:42, 30 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

Hoax

Hey there. I had to remove the SD tag you inserted on Silver monkey wolf, as hoaxes cannot be deleted under WP:CSD#G1. Perhaps WP:CSD#A7 could do, but an admin is likely to speedy it anyway.--Húsönd 00:06, 31 October 2006 (UTC)[reply]

AFDed Webcomics

Hey hey. Turns out I actually love web comics; I read about 10 daily. I just hate to see so much non-notable content filling up Wikipedia. I get that the comic's authors put a lot of work into their art (although in some comics that isn't the case), but that doesn't necessarily make the comic notable. A friend of mine draws comics, but I haven't made a page for them here. Know what I'm saying?
