Emanuel Mateusz Rostworowski (8 January 1923 in Kraków - 8 October 1989 in Kraków) was a Polish historian, professor of the Jagiellonian University and member of the Polish Academy of Sciences. From 1965 to 1989 he was the chief editor of the Polish Biographical Dictionary. He specialized in the 18th century history, and among his most famous works is a textbook on the history of that century.
