Esperidião Amin is a Brazilian politician. He was twice elected governor of state of Santa Catarina and mayor of Florianopolis. He was Senator of the Republic between 1991 and 1999 and national president of the Progessive Party.
Amin studied Business Administration and law at Universidade Federal de Santa Catarina (UFSC). He completed his master's degree in management and several courses in the areas of administration, economics, law and planning from UFSC. He began his career as a teacher in 1968 as professor of Brazilian Social Organization and Policy (OSPB), the State Institute of Education, in Florianopolis.
