A Super Smash Brothers Brawl Match between two (2) people with only one (1) life each.

   * note: Face Downs MUST have only one (1) life per player or it is not a Face Down. A ref must also be present during
         a Face Down in order to maintain order.

Famous Face Downs

An epic face down type match occured on June 2, 2008 in which Rob "Wild Dog" Schneiderman took on Sean "Rumble in the Jungle" Meehan. In an epic battle between the two professional players, Meehan with over 100% damage to Schneiderman's 30% dealt a killer blow to Schnederman, using a Falcon Punch. This comeback rivals pop culture comebacks such as Super Bowl XLII.

Schneiderman, tried to convince the press that this was a throw match and that he would have won the match had he known or played a standard match against Meehan.  Meehan and witnesses of the event refute Schneiderman's claims and state that Schneiderman was well aware of the rules and regulations in the match and that Schneiderman's dominant place in professional video games was jeopordized by this humiliating defeat.
