Florida State Road 472 is a short, 3.44 mile highway that provides a direct route to DeLand for eastbound motorists for Interstate 4. SR 472 is fairly new, it was completely finished in October 3rd, 2006, as the new ramp from westbound Highway 472 to eastbound Interstate 4 toward Daytona Beach.[1] This isn't the only way to Daytona. Florida State Road 415 northbound carries motorists to US 92 by Interstate 95, making it an alternate route of Interstate 4.
SR 472 is signed east-west.
Termini
SR 472 one extended from US 17/92 to Interstate 4, before the extention toward CR 4145 (Howland Boulevard) was built in 2005. Today, the extention is built to Howland Boulevard, completing SR 472.
