Front de Libération de la Côte des Somalis was a nationalist organisation, and later guerrilla group, in Djibouti. FLCS was founded in 1960 by Mahamoud Harbi. Its founding president was Adan Abdulle.[1] FLCS began armed activities inside Djibouti in 1968.[2]

FLCS was supported by OAU as a national liberation movement. In the period 1971-1972 FLCS received 1500 pounds sterling from the OAU.[3]
