Llayangudi is a panchayat town in Sivaganga district in the Indian state of Tamil Nadu.

As of 2001 India census[1], Llayangudi had a population of 19,100. Males constitute 48% of the population and females 52%. Llayangudi has an average literacy rate of 76%, higher than the national average of 59.5%: male literacy is 81%, and female literacy is 72%.
