Rai Thistlethwayte

Rai Thistlethwayte, born April 19,1980 is an Australian singer-songwriter who spends most of his time fronting the band Thirsty Merc. He is an accomplished guitarist, pianist and vocalist.

Before working with Thirsty Merc, he was well known as a jazz pianist, in some ensembles with Phil Stack, who was one of Australia's leading jazz bass players.

He attended Knox Grammar School where his father is a Language teacher. He grew up and still lives in West Pymble.

He dated Aimee Osbourne for a while but they are no longer together.
