Henry Dunster(c. 1612 - 1659) was born in Lancashire, England. He emigrated to Boston in 1640. He was on August 27. the same year, appointeed president of Cambridge College, which was to become Hardvard. He modelled Cambridge College after the English schools. In 1651, Henry refused to have his child baptized. This later led to him being forced to resign from Harvard. He spent the last few years of his life in Scituate, Mass, as a pastor, before he passed away in 1659.
